This was the most beautiful Hotel we’ve ever stayed in! All the staff just go the extra mile to make your trip exceptional. The breakfast was the best included breakfast, making everything fresh and a la carte. and the room was simply breathtaking! We will definitely come back!

Located in the São Miguel Island of the Azores archipelago, the Caloura Hotel Resort is inserted on a protected natural area and features direct access to the sea and natural volcanic pools. There is also a swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers. Beautiful, clean..the front desk clerk Rogério was extremely friendly, helpful, courteous, and efficient. Very nice young man.

the location is breathtaking, waking up with the sound of the waves and birds was very special. the swimming pool is perfect, surrounded by luxurious green plants that protect you from the wind. the house is also tastefully decorated and well equipped. it’s a place to find peace and quiet, recover energies and enjoy a good book with either your partner or friends.

The rooms and apartments also have a small balcony or veranda, depending on the unit. Our reception is available 24 hours a day for anything the guests might need. Man where do I start? I mean it should be what did I love! I arrived with pretty much the clothes on my back and thanks to amazing people I'm walking out with all name brand stuff and I'm humbly saying this I'm humble, good people do exist you just need to be equal and show love. Anc Resort I will never forget you.
Vila Franca do Campo
Featuring direct access to Baia de Água d’Alto Beach, this luxurious resort is situated on the island of São Miguel and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. Leisure facilities include a large fresh-water outdoor pool. Fantastic location and probably the best room in the hotel (518) with a 270 degree stunning sea and mountain view. Very good buffet both for breakfast and dinner. Charming and classy hotel with friendly staff, great pool and beach nearby. Also great hotel location, never did more than 40 mins drive to reach a visit place. Three great hiking trails starting close/from the hotel.
São Roque do Pico
The resort will provide guests with air-conditioned rooms offering a desk, a coffee machine, a fridge, a dishwasher, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, a terrace and a private bathroom with a bidet. The resort is beautifully located with stunning views, a pool, and a jacuzzi. We didn't use the pool because it was too cold, but we did use the jacuzzi once. I think it could be a nice place to stay if you get a better room.
Good central location and very informative host who was very quick to respond. Beautiful, spacious room with a luxury feel, including a walk-in wardrobe. The whole property was beautiful and had a historic feel.

We have stayed at hundreds of resorts, hotels, villas, Airbnbs, etc. and this was hands down the most exceptional, beautiful and perfect place we have ever stayed! It was clean, cozy, picturesque and right out of a fairy tale. We will be back! Thank you SO MUCH! This was the morning of our engagement too :)

Everything was stunning – the apartment, service, facilities, location. And without any doubt, a lot of luxury hotels worldwide (once again – WORLDWIDE) must send their stuff there to learn how to treat their customers. Paulo is a professional – he knows how to maintain successful business and to make guests satisfied with their stay.
I loved the design, the ocean & town view, being on the top floor in the modern & luxurious Pearl Suite, the “chill space” outside, the shower, and all the little extras that made it feel like a 5-star resort. :)
This spot is a little slice of heaven. Staff were amazing- communicative and welcoming. Resort was beautiful and pool was perfect. Breakfast was ready in the morning and delicious. Located at the western end of the island - ideal to watch the sunsets. Bed was so comfortable!!
Cannot fault anything. If you want a small cosy resort with great views alomg with luxury....this is the one!
I would like to express my great appreciation for their efforts to overcome the problem that there were actually no available rooms(due to maintenance work). They tried to reach me through all day but unfortunately I was not available. When I have contacted them I was informed that they can offer me instead an upgraded room at Santa Barbara Eco-Beach Resort. I was given one of the best rooms at the hotel (had a private jacuzzi outside)
