Whitianga
Featuring direct beach access, this resort has a barbecue area overlooking the ocean. Each self-contained apartment includes a private balcony or patio. Many apartments also have stunning ocean views and outdoor furniture. Amazing stay right on the beachfront. Saw the sunrise. Gorgeous hot tub. Sadly, we were only there for 1 night checked in late and left super early in the morning but still appreciated the friendly accommodating staff and location.
Coromandel Town
At the resort, all rooms are equipped with a patio. The rooms are fitted with a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, while some rooms also boast a kitchen equipped with an oven. All rooms have bed linen. Woow, nice location. what an amazing farm stay. It has everything including a fire place, bbq even an axe to cut fire wood. Nice to have a drive through the farm too. Thanks a lot. Nice book create by owners with nearby attractions with maps. Comfy beds, fire place, nice farm drive, chickens walking around( even walks into your cabin if you let them)
Pauanui
Featuring garden views, Pauanui Lakes - Golf Resort offers accommodation with water sports facilities, a fitness centre and a tennis court, around 47 km from Cathedral Cove. The property also offers accommodation for disabled guests. The facilities were good. The pkace very relaxing.

Situated in the heart of an eco and wilderness park, Treetops Lodge & Estate offers luxurious suites and villas with views of the forest and lakes. The Treetops Spa combines modern products and techniques with indigenous and therapeutic Maori treatments. This place is phenomenal. The food is great, the staff is so attentive and work so hard to make things personally special for the guests. Plus the property is unreal - so many trails to explore, a beautiful water fall exclusive to the property, I only wish we'd stayed longer!
Taupo
Taupo DeBretts Spa Resort is just 800 metres from Lake Taupo crater lake. It has a natural thermal spa and is only 5 minutes' drive from the Taupo town centre. Free Wi-Fi is available.

Beachside Resort Motel is less than 5 minutes walk from Whitianga centre and less than 100 metres from Buffalo Beach. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a tennis court.
All of the rooms at Beachside Resort have a DVD player. The self contained apartments also have a kitchenette including tea and coffee making facilities.
The house was clean and spacious with heater, open kitchen area and laundry room. We cooked here for dinner and breakfast. There are supermarkets within few-minutes drive and also close to the beach.
Hahei
You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way).
Not all accommodation has a lounge area, sofa, TV.
The view was out of this world, the comfort was amazing too.
Whangamata
Just 8 minutes’ walk from Whangamata Beach, Palm Pacific Resort & Motel boasts an outdoor pool, a hot tub and a tennis court. It offers accommodation with free WiFi and a private patio overlooking the gardens. Exceptionally clean and well maintained property with pool, hot tub and tennis court. Staff was very friendly and welcoming
Tairua
Located on The Esplanade overlooking Tairua Harbour, Paku Lodge Resort offers self-contained accommodation with a private balcony and harbour views. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, BBQ facilities and free kayak and bicycle rental. Cute kitchen with everything that we need. Very close to Mount Paku which is lovely walk. Lovely views. Staff were very kind and helpful.
Whitianga
Located next to the Lost Spring Thermal Pools, this resort offers direct access to Buffalo Beach and has a heated outdoor pool, tennis court and a children's playground. Free WiFi is available in most rooms and all public areas. Location was great and accommodation very comfortable.

I've stayed at Taupō Debretts Spa Resort before and it consistently impresses. The WiFi is available and stable across the property, which is a huge plus. The rooms are designed like individual villas, providing the comfort and space of a whole house. Additionally, we received a 50% discount on the Hotpools as guests, which was fantastic. I also appreciate the heated floors, which keep the room cozy and warm during cold weather. Highly recommend!

Location, kitchenette in the room, facilities in the spa resort. Room description says with lake view but from our room you won't really see the lake. Trees are blocking it.
A basic family resort, bed was comfy, there was aircon and it's in a nice location. Pools were nice.
the beds were super comfortable and big enough room, just behind is the spa resort super nice. showers ok, love all the lights, do think though for resort they could do it up a bit more but we enjoyed our one night here !

Immaculately kept and rooms are spacious. Great to have washing machine and dryer available. Had the luxury of using Village resorts bike and biked around the lake. It was just what was needed after a long day. Finished off with a swim in the pool. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Francis and hubby team are very helpful.
