Rotorua
Surrounded by Lake Rotorua, On The Point -Lake Rotorua is a luxury retreat featuring spectacular views to Mokoia Island. Guests can enjoy fine dining in the restaurant or indulge in a massage or treatment at the day spa. Exceptional location, service, with friendly welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time in New Zealand. Everything was immaculate and so well done. Getting to pet the ponies and sheep and donkeys while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake was a bonus!

Very large and comfortable room. The spa bath was unbelievable per my wife
Rotorua
The resort also boasts an outdoor swimming pool, heated hot tub, fitness centre and a tennis court. Guests can enjoy use of the BBQ facilities, fish from the shores or park their boat and relax after a day on the water. Property is on the other side of Lake Rotorua to the city centre, but we felt it was a great location. Only 10 to 15 minutes drive to town and isolated from town, it’s tranquil and quiet. Our villa was on the canal so every day there were ducks and swans outside swimming outside or back door. The kids loved it. Room facilites were good-nice warm rooms, modern kitchen , air-conditioning and stand fan included, decent bathroom with washing machine and dryer. Clean sheets and towels. It is highly recommended to get some groceries before checking in for cooking during the stay as the restaurant opening hours is irregular as it's privately owned. Would definitely recommend this place to any visitors to Rotorua.

VR Rotorua is enriched in ethnic history. It is at this location where the First Māori settlement was established in the region by Ihunga and his dog. Set on 6 acres on the shores of the beautiful Lake Rotoiti, VR Rotorua Lake Resort is located is just 15 minutes drive from Central Rotorua. Loved the location right on the lake and being able to use the kayaks! We also loved the food at the restaurant and a shout out to our server, Eva, who went above and beyond with her amazing customer service! A beautiful dinner and awesome breakfast! Great view of the lake from our room!

Second time staying got a deluxe this time absolutley perfect gorgeous view spa bath and use of resort spa and sauna. We love this place and will be back again!
Clean and tidy. Has all you need to stay. Lovely and warm. Bring some beach towels if you wish to swim in the sea. Obvious upgrades happening around the resort. Gym is well appointed and the pool/spa is lovely and warm. Great long walks to watch the sunrise!
Extremely clean and comfortable - from the moment I opened the door I knew it would be great, the gentle smell of essential oils and soft music playing in the background. The rooms are well appointed adding that little piece of luxury to your stay. But it is the additional extras that sets this property apart, from plush bathrooms to the substantial ‘treat’ tray provided. The communication from Chantelle was great, both clear and concise. The only let down for me was that I didn’t have enough time to lay in the beautiful bath tub!
I wasn't expect the luxury room like I was, I enjoy so much that I almost didn't leave the room
Very dated property. In no way a 'resort' Only good thing was location. Travelled with my 2 year old and 7 year old and booked for 2 adults (we all shared the same bed) but they charged me $45 for an extra person. Ridiculous
Everything! So spotlessly clean, beautifully fitted out, great location, luxurious and comfortable. It’s the third time I’ve stayed in three months! Perfect for adult family and friends, where three bedroom & three bathroom adds privacy and luxury.
To be quite honest, the only thing good about our stay at this “spa resort” was the bed.
I had a wonderful time at VR Rotorua Lake Resort. The hotel is located on the shores of the beautiful Lake Rotoiti, which offers stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a private balcony overlooking the lake. I loved the deep bath, the luxury amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant served delicious food with a variety of options. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for scenic and comfortable accommodation in Rotorua.
the location is always a positive when staying at Wai Ora Lakeside spa resort. I’ve stayed here before in 2021 and had a good experience hence why I have booked again recently. The cleaning service lady was very friendly and checked in to see whether we needed anything and if we wanted to restock any amenities.
We love everything that papamoa beach resort has to offer. Also that it's very close proximity to plaza and short drive to bayfair.
