At each meal, we were counting tables without little children! This place seems a huge hit among families with children. Traveling with our 6yo, we felt right at home. At 3.5 hours drive from Bengaluru, it’s not a tiresome drive to reach here. The lake, the huge Teatro restaurant, the coffee plantations, the birds and the trees were all pleasant surprises for us. We travel often and I’m used to mediocre staff at other places. But the staff here are fantastic. Every time we approached anyone, they were professional and took care of things. During the busy breakfast hours, one could see managers get hands on, clearing or setting the tables themselves to help guests settle down faster. This must be a great place to work for the staff. Our 6yo got to bake a pizza and cookies right in the kitchen!! And also had a art session with more than a dozen kids. The staff handle kids with aplomb. I had read praise for the food in the reviews. I was impressed despite the high expectations. I’ve written more than I intended. Fantastic place. Highly recommended.

A beautiful resort with an amazing architecture and garden space. We loved the rich wooden carvings and the luxurious ambience. The front desk staffs Anu, Philip, Sreerag and restaurant staffs were very friendly and helpful. The Superior villa was very comfortable. It is very well maintained and cleaned everyday. The breakfast had varieties of food and we loved the delicious South Indian idlis, vadas and dosas. Fresh fruits were tasty. The dining room is very well designed and we felt homely. The complimentary evening coffee/tea with snacks was a great add on and it reminded me of eating snacks at my grandparents home. The location is amazing with lots of greenery and lake view. Complimentary sunset boat ride was cool. Oil massage by Anju at Ayur Sukam was calming and rejuvenating. Overall we had a comfortable, relaxing and luxurious stay at Gokulam. I definitely recommend this lovely resort. Many thanks to all the wonderful people who work there.

The views alone were enough to sit and enjoy the ambience of the hotel and surrounding areas. Reception, restaurant and cleaning staff were all highly efficient and friendly, they could not do enough to help us feel comfortable and relaxed. A special mention to our driver Chinju, who showed us around and helped us carry out an auspicious function. He made everything go smoothly and there was nothing for us to worry about. The hotel is in a prime location to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the Munnar hills. This is a hotel where once you leave, you know you will definitely be back. This room has a bathtub with a jacuzzi. I loved the breakfast, the fruits are so fresh and they also serve puttu, appam and dosa. Believe me the food is just so yum. You definitely feel the home cooked feeling. Most of the guest aren’t noisy, so glad. Made the place very peaceful. The staff are very nice, everyone has a smile on their faces. The person who takes the food order I think his name is Ashish, he always sing.. either he enjoyes his job so much or he just loves singing.. either way I found the staff very authentic and pleasant.. Harish, Anju and Mahesh are very courteous. Harish is very passionate when doing the meditation session, I didn’t feel like I’m going to a “meditation” session. He explained meditation and encouraged us a lot. Winnie who does the massages did an awesome job giving me a head massage and Shirodhara treatment, I fell a sleep. I see so many comments on people staying the road is challenging, yes that’s true but there is always a hotel jeep to take you up to the main road and back. Max you’ll wait 5-10mins if the jeep has taken other passengers but honestly it’s not an issue. Rajendran who takes us in the jeep is so accommodating. Overall I loved this place. I sincerely hope they continue to keep this place like a precious nature and wellness serene!
