They arranged for us the transport on the island as well as in Banda Aceh - Irrfan, the driver in Banda Aceh not only got us everywhere we needed when the schedule was tight, but also proved to be a great local guide who showed us all places of cultural and culinary interest in banda Aceh.

The staff were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious (we liked the curry best) and very reasonably priced. We also signed up for a one day tour with them and we had a great day with 5 orangutan sightings led by our guides Jojo and Aldi. One evening some local guys came by to hang out and play some music. It was great singing along and getting to know the people of Bukit Lawang! It was also great that this didn’t go on late into the night and we still went to bed at a very reasonable time.

Accommodation and toilets are very clean and i appreciate there are also european toilets, which was comfortable for me. I also enjoyed the outdoor gym and other sport activities as kayaks, voleyball etc. Compared to other islands in Pulau Banyak there are almost none mosquitos. Staff was very helpful with organizing transport to and from tailana island. Thank you for pleasant stay and i hope i will have opportunity to come again.

The beach, the palm trees and the clear waters of the deep blue sea are picture perfect everywhere around the island. Our beautiful wooden bungalow was nice and basic - but with all most important necessities - and well maintained, with an attractive veranda with two lovely wicker armchairs, a table and a hammock. It was wonderfully relaxing to spend time here reading or just staring at the sea… The MB Palambak Island Resort has only eight bungalows, all identically designed and in good shape. The four shared bathrooms/toilets are spotlessly clean and well looked after too. The resort is currently one of only two places to stay on the island. There are no settlements or villages, which enhances the Robinson Crusoe feeling. Communal meals are prepared in the central restaurant shack and served at the big tables outside on the veranda (or inside when it’s raining). Before arrival you’ll be asked if you have any food preferences - vegetarian/fish/chicken - and the cook matches your desires. Every day the menu was a surprise, but it was always delicious and with great variety. We didn't have the same dish once during the four days we stayed here. Kayaks and snorkeling gear are free available for guests. However, the underwater world around Pulau Palambak is not the most beautiful in the Banyak Islands; for that you‘re better off going to Tailana or Tambarat. Boat trips can be arranged at reasonable costs. The sand in front of the resort is cleaned daily by the staff (possibly together with volunteering guests). Staff is super friendly and helpful. Essential communication takes place by e-mail and WhatsApp via Mrs Claudine, the great organizational talent behind the scenes. She can also arrange your boat transport from/to the mainland. The MB Camp in Singkil has the same owner as the MB Palambak Island Resort. Direct speedboats can be arranged between both places if required.

Featuring a restaurant, the 1-star resort has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The resort has a private beach area. We had an amazing time at Iboih inn! We stayed in a hilltop bungalow and it was lovely. The bungalow has a nice veranda with seaview. The restaurant and common areas are right by the sea and the jetty is great for sunbathing and swimming. The breakfast buffet is probably the best in Indonesia😀 Lisa and her husband are great hosts and helped us with motorbikes, transfers and daytrips. But most of all they are very friendly and make you feel right at home. We stayed for five nights, next time wi will for sure stay longer!

Great location , long beach has a white sand. It's a very Impressive landscape. We tried snorkeling left side of the beach , there are a lot of corals and fishes and crabs. Our room that has a tile floor is big and clean and useful for swim and play in the sea. Resort Staffs were friendly and kindness.
