Kenmore
The Kenmore Club was originally the walled garden for the nearby Taymouth Castle, home of the Marquis of Breadalbane. Today, this small, exclusive resort consists of a series of cottages, constructed in the same unique style as the nearby village of Kenmore. The resort includes a swimming pool, a tennis court and a children's playground, as well as a restaurant. This place is an absolute gem and offers excellent value for money. It’s located in a stunning spot right on the loch, providing beautiful views. The cottage was spacious, impeccably maintained, and spotlessly clean. It had everything our family of four needed, including a well-equipped kitchen. The spa and pool were wonderful additions to our stay. A special mention goes to the staff—everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. In particular, Wanda, the receptionist, went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience.

Kinross
Set in an 18th-century coaching inn, the family-owned Green Hotel offers a selection of restaurants, bars and 2 golf courses. The property is in Kinross, close to the M90 motorway.
The hotel offers beautifully maintained grounds and there is also a courtyard where guests can relax and enjoy evening drinks or afternoon tea.
Fine, but would have preferred a "help yourself" buffet breakfast.
Crieff
Crieff Hydro Hotel is set in a 900-acre estate with a Victorian spa, 9-hole par 3 golf course and over 60 indoor and outdoor activities. The resort is situated in the beautiful Strathearn Valley just 1 hour's drive from both Edinburgh and Glasgow. Hotel was beautiful and the walks surrounding the hotel were lovely. So much activities! I particularly enjoyed the horse riding hack!
Crieff
Crieff Hydro Self Catering, a property with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge, is located in Crieff, 32 km from Scone Palace, 40 km from Castle Menzies, as well as 32 km from Doune Castle. This apartment provides free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. The apartment features an indoor pool with a water slide, as well as a sauna and full-day security.
Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which serves French cuisine and also offers vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free options.
The whole family (10 of us) thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of the space for the grandchildren to play safely in and around the chalets. The choice of activities for all ages at the Crieff Hydro is excellent and there always seems to be something new to enjoy. Had the weather been less favourable we had no concerns about finding indoor activities to keep the children happy and the adults relaxed.
The adults enjoyed the great views from the well-positioned chalets and the comfort to relax when the children were finally asleep.
Without exception, all the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

We got great time at Luxury Mill house lodge. it was big house with multiple roos with nice decoration and furniture. Have private car parking and private access path to the Loch Tay. More than that, We had our own Hot Tub facing directly to nature and next our own access of the small waterfall. It was really great stay. Co op available by car 15 minutes away. There is also Farm shop 5 minutes by car.
The property itself is full of period character and room was spacious, light and had lots of little extras from the scones on arrival, luxury toiletries , shortbread, restaurant information, free parking, 3 course breakfasts! Great Host.
It was definitely luxury. Fixtures and fittings were first class and everything we needed was there. Very clean. Cosy.
The apartment is nice and airy, with lots of living space. The direct access to the garden from the kitchen/living area is perfect. The beds are really comfy, you can barely feel the zipped-up seam in the middle. Good equipment of crockery, pots and pans in the kitchen. A small jug of milk was made available on arrival, along a couple of single-use instant coffee packets, which was nice. Finally, to note that we really enjoyed how quiet the resort was, despite being at capacity.
Clean and very comfortable with luxury level fixtures and fittings and a very stylish design. Host was friendly and very helpful.
The reception staff! Very helpful. The location. Also the ducks that would waddle around the resort path.
Luxury place, beautifully presented, very welcoming host Gary, nothing too much bother. Lots of nice touches, for example quality chocolates, good tea/ coffee selection in room. Breakfast is excellent, great selection of choices, quality products well cooked and presented and impeccably served. A five star establishment.
very relaxing and user friendly resort
Staff- from the moment we arrived, they were extremely friendly and warm. Continued to be helpful throughout our stay. Accomodation- although the livingroom furniture within cottage 11 is a bit outdated aesthetically, it was overall very clean and lovely. Location- loch Tay is just so captivating. Overall- wonderful stay. Very quiet. Lovely resort. Would love to visit again.
