Loved the grounds with kangaroos and emus just wandering around outside and views of the mountains incl the Pinnacle. Also enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace which was cleaned and wood topped up the next day.

The one bedroom apartment was very comfortable and clean. The bungalows (apartments) are arranged around a nicely landscaped pond in a rural area. There was a bonfire at night. In the morning we were invited to help feed the animals on the property, which included alpacas, cows, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and goats. There are also wild emus and kangaroos that roam the grounds. There is a tennis court, a playground, and a recreation room with a pool table and ping pong table. The property also has a swimming pool and an outdoor grilling pavilion. It's a safe and relaxing place for adults and kids. The location is great too. It's close to the town where there are restaurants and shops. The facility is inside the national park, so it's near hiking trails and scenic lookouts. We enjoyed our four night stay there very very much.
Halls Gap
Situated 32 minutes' drive from Halls Gap in the Victoria Region, Meringa Springs is located 48 km from Horsham. Meringa Springs also features cosy open fireplaces, double glazed windows and under floor heating in the main lodge. An outdoor pool is yours to enjoy in the warmer weather, and there is also an on-site restaurant and bar. Host was very attentive and accommodating. She gave us recommendations for which walks to consider, which are closed, etc, which gave me a chance to adjust the itinerary in advance and have a smoother day. The location was absolutely superb and more peaceful than Halls Gap. You wake up to the one of most stunning views And have it all to yourself with another two villas at most. The room also felt of high quality with the wooden floors, marble tables, comfortable beds and clear views of the Grampians. By night you can stargaze or stay by the fireplace inside. The food and the wine selection was high quality and set to your schedule, within reason. It was also lovely that after a full day of hiking you can have a spa bath. Beatrice also prepared homemade cookies each day, which was a nice touch. Everything has been thought of here.

Spacious room, perfect for doing floor exercises; well stocked 'luxury temptations'- wine, pringles, plus a variety of other options; perfectly located to access the centre of town, restaurants, information centre, oval, but was still quiet; approachable staff; both the room air conditioner and fan in the bathroom were very quiet, unobtrusive even. I loved the angel and other sculptures, and the outer seats. Room was adequately warm without the heater, most of the time.
They’ve got everything you need for the cooking. Literally everything! And not to mention other thoughtful facilities they provide. Some luxury 5 stars hotel could not even do their job. Room is nice and tidy. Spending a fun cozy and pleasant night there was totally worth it. Thank you and appreciate their kind and friendly team too xoxo
Very nice place near Halls gap. Many kangaroos inside the resort after sun goes down. Facilities are very very clean. Tennis court and pool was good too.
Loved this property. It was like having our little private peaceful resort. You have so much space…..inside and outside. My hubby and I rate it 10/10 Thank you Grampian Chalets👍🏼 Ps…..had a surprise….in our Chalet we had an electric massage chair….amazing👏
Very relaxing, room was very spacious, very clean, views from any type accommodation. It reminded me of a resort, if you didn't want to go down town, you can dine/Bar on the premises. Great deck for the summer nights.
If you are looking for a luxury stay in the Grampians (Halls Gap) this is the place to stay. The location is perfect, both close to town but very secluded. Being fully equipped with kitchen and laundry facilities, you have the option of just staying put and looking after yourself for a few very relaxing days.
We had an amazing stay at this resort and everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and everything was top-notch. We felt really looked after and really cared for at this hotel by Jess and the other staff. The property has an incredible history and every room has its own story. The 3-course dinner rivaled any top-end restaurant and our personal chef Kevin was wonderful. We met Will, the owner of this property too who was very welcoming and even took us on a little boat ride.
Nice resort directly at the lake, friendly staff, comfortable bed
The cabin was very comfortable for four adults; the main living area was a good size, and more that one double bed is difficult to find, especially at this price. (Most family accommodation is set up for two adults and multiple children.) A TV in two of the bedrooms was an unexpected luxury. The lady at reception was exceptionally friendly, I have social anxiety but felt very welcome and comfortable approaching her.
