Situated in a quiet area on a peaceful beach with beautiful gardens offering shade and privacy. The rooms are spacious, airy and spotless. The bed is very comfortable. The food is excellent and served in atmospheric surroundings. There are multiple loungers and deck chairs to choose from to relax. There are also paddle boards and kayaks available.The pool is very pleasant and refreshing. The place is very well managed and maintains high standards.
Having stayed at three other places in Zanzibar, this was by far our favourite. Highly recommended.

How peaceful and relaxed it was. Nicely remote. The food was incredible!! Also the staff were so lovely and Friendly, tempering things you did or did not like. Loved how there was no set meal times and you go when you fancy to a certain degree! I can’t ever say I have had such a relaxing and romantic holiday!

Considering the fact that you'll have most of your food at the hotel because other places are far away, the prices are not too bad. Just western adjacent, I'd say.
Having a lovely secluded beach so close is great.
Lots of nice touches like a telescope and easel and paint (even though I didn't fully use them)
The cleaning was daily and thorough, including the pool.
There was a turndown service on one evening. (not sure what happened on the other nights)

The place was exquisite from the time you get in until you leave. The staff are very happy to have you, they'll smile at you, greet you, offer help even beyond what's paid for. The food is amazing; a buffet breakfast, expert cooked a la carte menu, 5 course dinner, amazing cocktails and all of them made ready in time. There are small pools infront of every room for a chill dip, the pools at Isaraya water villas are a little bigger, the place is cozy and the views are breathtaking.
The main infinity pool perfectly overlooks the clean white sandy beach at the clear blue ocean waterfront. There is nothing bad to write about this place. Honestly!

It is a beautiful beoutique resort, with fantastic ocean view from each place( restaurants upstairs, dowstairs, pool, and boungalows). There are plenty of very comfortable beach beds (double beds so 2 persons can relax in comfort). The resort has direct access to the beach. The area is quiet, perfect location if you really want to rest, and relax. Food was excellent, we enjoyed that a lot:-) Very helpful and friendly staff. Good showers, A/C working perfectly. We would love to come back to this paradise!
Mount Zion is a magnificent resort close the beach in a peaceful and beautiful location. We loved our stay and enjoyed the nice and relaxed atmosphere a lot. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had a good stay. The rooms are spacious with nice garden view.
The resort is very close to the beach and it’s beautiful to go for a walk or swim or watch the sunset. We can really recommend Mount Zion to everyone who want to visit Zanzibar.

Everything, starting with a unique sunset on the beach directly from our bed was something amaizing, the room is spacious and clean, the bed is comfortable to sleep, the pool is big and very nice, lovely views from everywhere in the resort, close to The Rock Restaurant, you can actually see if from the beach. This resort was truly exceptional, from the attention to detail in everything, the kindness of the staff, the relaxing atmosphere that came across us from the minute we walked in. Their selection of beer and wine was exceptional and the menu also kept a very good level. Breakfast was always lovely with freshly cooked bread and the fact that everyone who worked there seemed happy and proud to be there. Will recommend to anyone who asks me about Zanzibar and hope to be back again!
A perfect alternative to expensive beach resorts for those looking for an authentic experience, off the tourist path. Bungalows are cosy, decorated in Zanzibar style, with a private terrace where you can stare at the see while breakfast or a glass of wine is served. Although this is not an all-inclusive, the service is quite high-level thanks to a prepared smiling staff and Gillian, the property manager, who took care of us like longtime friends.
The famous Rock restaurant is within walking distance, a true plus from our side.
Jua is not an ordinary, though charming resort. It is more and far better described as an amazing experience for your senses! The views, the position, the sounds, the food, the ladies and gentlemen who take good care of all your needs! Everything is just wonderful and a true immersion in nature! The ultimate barefoot luxury experience with fabulous food, excellent service and the feeling of being on a deserted island!!
Jua and its people will remain in our hearts and a piece of our hearts will remain at Jua!!
