The pools are well positioned and the beach is wide with a good shaded area to enjoy the day. The hotel has a small playroom which was important for us. The corner suite1469 was just perfect with a large balcony and spacious living area.

Location is good, about 20mins by car outside Pattaya center. The facilities are nice, especially the sky pool (but I thought it was very weird the pool only opens at 11am! I mean you can go to the pool before but there is just no one there and the sofas are all still covered). We stayed in a sea view cabin that was so beautiful! The room was built over the canal and we had a relaxing view of the infinity pool next to the ocean. The rooms were unique and the vibes were relaxing. We had a variety of wonderful tropical drinks and the food was of good quality. The resort is ocean front--during high tide, the waters come right up and crash against a small sea wall, and then low tide allows for a large stretch of accessible sand. The view of green hills on one side of the resort and the city of Pattaya on the other side was beautiful! I also love outdoor showers and had a lovely outdoor bath with nature vibes. The walking paths were not really well lit at night, but it was nice to go for a walk around the property. It was romantic and peaceful.

The staff were superb from start to finish. Jeet the Customer Service manager was super helpful in suggesting where to go and what to do and even booked various things for us. The grounds of the resort are beatifully set amongst water, trees and dense greenery everywhere. Our room had a lovely outside decked area with a jacuzzi and was big and spacious. I've been fortunate over the years to stay in some wonderful places and this is up there as one of the best.

We were looking for something away from the crowds of Pattaya. The Sunset Village beach resort is in a great location, very quiet and peaceful, right on the beach. Exactly what we were looking for.
Food was great and reasonably priced.
Staff were very polite and friendly.
If in this area again I would come back to Sunset Village.
