Very comfortable modern bungalow with all the amenities one needs for a comfortable stay...mini fridge/freezer, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, and AC. The lobby and restaurant area are beautiful and comfortable. The pool and pool area have recently been nicely renovated. The bird-watching is great. Plenty of hornbills and other amazing tropical birds frequent the trees around the property. The staff were all extremely friendly, warm, and helpful, carrying our luggage to and from the boat to/from our bungalow, and escorting us from the rocky shoreline to the beach when our longtail boat had to drop us off on the rocky shoreline at low tide. Truly an exceptionally attentive and kind staff. The lunches and dinners at the resort are tasty, but don't expect a bargain like on the mainland.

We got upgraded to a beachview bungalow, which was very nice. The wooden interior is very charming and full of character. The bed was comfy, the room clean The terrace in front was nice too. Loved the swimming pool, the franchipani trees in the garden and not to mention the stunning sea view. We only stayed one night in Koh Ngai but it was more than worth it!
