This resort is a little treasure - the nature there is amazing, and the staff do everything to make you happy. The tours that you can book are also very much worth going on - I particularly enjoyed the Kayak trip through the mangrove swamp, and the trip to Chantaburi.
The location near a small beach is also convenient - and Chao Lao beach (a more beautiful beach) is only 15 minutes away by car.
Don't forget to bring mosquito spray, and a mosquito net is also helpful - all windows have insect protection, but you still get the occasional intruder :).
It was also great that I got a free upgrade to a bigger room (staying in my own bungalow).

Gosh! Where do I begin with what I liked about this place? My words probably won't do justice to how great this establishment is. This family-ran business is located 15 mins walk away from the nearest beach-ish area. Although 3 years old, this place doesn't look a day old. The facilities are well-maintained and its greatest selling point is its wonderful staffs. They are very polite and accommodating. I left my book and some important papers behind and they promptly mailed them to my place. They also agreed to check us in early and they speak fabulous English. Truly wonderful people.
The rooms are villa style accommodation with a little loft to sit and relax. Beware it gets hot in the loft but 15 mins of aircon solves that problem. Breakfast is a 'ok'. I liked it though. If you are looking for an elaborate spread then this place is probably not for you. In all fairness to them, they have everything one need for a deliciously sumptuous breakfast. Honestly, I enjoyed my stay here and I will definitely visit again.
