Bartolomeu Beach Apartments, resort in Porto

The unit is set in Foz do Douro, a 15-minute drive from the Porto centre. Some of the apartments in the unit feature views of the Ocean from its balcony. Bartolomeu Apartments Sea View is a 2-minute drive from the Serralves Modern Art Museum.

A continental breakfast may be included in the rate and served each morning at the suite. It is a 2-minute walk from popular restaurants and cafés, such as the seafront Tavi.

We were made to feel like home by the owners, the view was absolutely stunning and the location is amazing for a relaxing trip. The mattress and the pillows were very good quality and very comfortable, which in turn made us want to spend even more time in bed. All in all just very good.

    We had an absolutely wonderful stay, from the friendly WhatsApp messages recommending places to go, to being welcomed by the wonderful Susana, from the BEAUTIFUL bedroom to the fantastic shower... It was a truly great stay in a small hotel, perfect for a girls weekend away! The atmosphere is low key, relaxed luxury. The location is also excellent, we really enjoyed the nearby area - great independent restaurants, shops and bars.

    Everything! Great location, spotlessly clean, very well furnished with luxury toiletries,beautiful quality bed linen and the large terrace with comfy furniture was great for relaxing in the sunshine. The fresh fruit, bottle of port and the delicious Portuguese custard tarts were a lovely welcome too. The owners Carolina and Miguel responded to us very quickly when we had an issue and nothing was too much bother, they were extremely helpful and friendly.

    Such a cute and charming place. The building is older and that shows, but if you love history and architecture than it's lovely. They have worked hard on updating and it shows. Is it a luxury resort? No, but it is a quaint and lovely place to stay. The staff is so much fun and the breakfast is simple but very good. The location is absolutely wonderful. Not directly in the tourist area so fairly quite, but so close and the walk is easy.

    This hotel feels like a 5 star luxury hotel: amazing staff, they were very friendly and helped us navigate the city, gave great recommendations for sights, food and shopping. The room felt very new and extremely clean, the breakfast was great as well. Location was superb. Would definitely recommend and return!

    The booking advice was very misleading. We were to be met by the host. That did not happen. Communication was possible by email directly to the host. I tried on 2 occasions prior to arrival and at arrival and got no response. We ended up not being able to access the property and had to resort going to the local restaurant to get them to phone our host. We were extremely annoyed.

    Feel home small hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. Top location in Foz do Douro, with authentic and not as touristic atmosphere compared to Porto city and beach resort Matosinhos. Fantastic sea view from the room’s balcony. Many excellent restaurants nearby (A Capoeira, Casa da Rocha, Cepa Torta, O Balcao do mercado…)

    Great location, clean rooms, all you need for perfect price. Of course it is not a luxury resort, but small probably family run business in a older building. I felt very welcomed and comfortable for that price.
