We stayed at Borac Bay View for 5 days and had the best time! The little hut was cozy and the view really beautiful. What you should now before is that there is nothing really to do on your own, but as in many places in the Philippines you can do a guided tour around the island. Furthermore, the place offers a trip to the opposite island, which takes about 15 minutes with a small boat. The beach there is just like out of paradise, we were almost the only tourists there. The place was perfect for us regarding to find a really calm and quiet stay.
Coron (Near Borac)
Situated in Coron, 17 km from Maquinit Hot Spring, Borac Bay Bungalows Hotel and Resort features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property has a bar, as well as a restaurant serving Asian cuisine. The accommodation provides room service, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage for guests.
Switzerland
If you like being away from everything, this hotel is made for you. It is 1 hour away from Coron town by car. The place is very isolated and very quiet. We had no network or internet which didn't bother us that much. The place is magnificent, the bungalows and tents are built on the cliff, overlooking the sea. The staff welcomed us nicely and took good care of us (they went so far as to take us to their small village an evening to watch their grandson's basketball game). The hosts offer their own boat tour which involves going on a small private island (we recommend).
