While set in the secluded cove of Bandar Jissah between the Al Hajar Mountains and the Gulf of Oman, this exclusive resort is just 15 minutes south of Muscat city centre and 40 minutes from Muscat International Airport and an ideal spot to also discover Muscat’s rich cultural heritage.

I thought the breakfast was exceptional. The variety was great and the service was wonderful. I loved the serenity of the rooms and the property as a whole. The Omani/local touch made it even more special :) ps. I appreciated the early check in as 3 PM is a late check in time.

This hotel is pure class. Possibly the best I’ve ever stayed in. Staff are brilliant, so kind and thoughtful. The food is really outstanding - Zale restaurant setting is so well done with great food, and it’s true the breakfast and lunch buffets are staggeringly good - oysters, lobsters, a DJ playing lounge beats, tick tick tick. The location in the upcoming Al Mouj area is great for walking out a bit which is a bonus over resort type hotels. Private beach, nice pools, bowling alley all great for our kids.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Hyatt Muscat, I've been coming here since I was a kid and the level of service has been top ever since. I highly recommend this place for people looking for a luxurious beach resort, but at a cheaper price than other hotels of the same level.
