Amazing. This hotel is so perfect for a few days in nature and there is lots to do in the area. Ishan did so much to help us, arranging us a lovely driver from kandy and an amazing safari. We had a great stay and the food is totally amazing. the Sri Lankan curry they offer is like a platter of 8 curries and it’s amazing. would tell anyone to stay here and make sure you have a few days. it’s such a special spot

The area on which the apartments/houses were built is incredible. Sourrounded by nature, with a perfect view of the two gigantic rocks that every tourist wants to see anyway during their stay. It's quite, you hear nothing but nature which is amazing especially when you just came from a bigger city. All in all, the facilities are modern, clean and everything you would expect from a high level hotel like this. However, what you would probably not expect, is one of the nicest hosts both my friend and I have met during many stays over the last weeks of travelling. We felt welcome the second we arrived and when asking how long the pool is open, the answer was "Don't worry, you're home.". I think that pretty much sums it up. Kalika and Preethika, the hosts and owners, made us feel like a member of a family, and they helped us planning some amazing trips (booking tuck tucks to the rocks at 5am in the morning, a safari to the elephants, a cab to a nearby temple,...). I don't know if I could expecty anything more from a stay, and the both of them were responsible not only for a great stay from dinner to breakfast, but also for everything in between. I strongly recommend staying at this property and speaking with the owners Kalika and Preethika, they are insporing, welcoming, humorous and caring people. What also makes this place special is the fact that every single one working at the property is genuinely friendly, we had many nice conversations with staff at the restaurant. People were sincerely interested not only in our plans but also in showing what the Sri Lankan cuisine has to offer. Speaking of which: Try Sri Lankan breakfast and curry rice for dinner. We had the honour of being the first foreign guests here. Its a beautiful location and design with even better staff. The apartments are all brand new and high end. The staff were all amazingly professional from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with frozen towels and fresh fruit juice which was a very nice touch as it was very hot. The room was immaculate and came stocked with a complementary fridge and snacks drawer with tea/coffee making facilities (we were also visited twice to ask if we would like the items restocking too!). We also had slippers and dressing gowns to be used during our stay which again were high quality and brand new. The room was very private and had ice cool air conditioning with a back patio/balcony area which was great as you look out into the nestling woodland filled with birds. We ate at the restaurant on site which again was all brand new and beautifully decorated. The menu was brilliant and had a great range of choices, both meals we had were really delicious and the service throughout was 10/10. We even had a visit from the head chef to check everything was ok and if we needed anything else. We also had breakfast which was a choice of 3 styles of breakfast, each was customisable to your liking which was a very nice touch. Again the food and service was 10/10. There is a complementary swimming pool and steam room on site and also a range of activities to do too such as archery, bike riding and air rifle target shooting! The hotel is located approximately 15 minutes from the famous Sigiriya rock. We will 100% be staying here again if we visit Sigiriya again.
