We visited the Kalpitiya area for the first time and couldn't imagine staying in any other hotel than Club Mango. From the first moment everyone was so nice to us, they offered to cook us a delicious rice and curry for lunch on arrival that perhaps no other in Sri Lanka surpassed. The chef would deserve at least a Michelin star for his cooking skills. We enjoyed a Sri Lankan breakfast in the morning and enjoyed seafood and fish for dinner. If you love Sri Lankan cuisine, love to eat and love uncrowded places, Club Mango is your best choice in Kalpitiya. We walked to the sea in the morning via 2 shallow lagoons. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are stylish and big enough and of course the gorgeous outdoor bathroom overlooks the palm trees. Great experience and we will definitely be back!

We stayed here for going to willpatu wich its a amazing national park. The room was very beautiful the second floor but not ac. We changed the room for one in the first floor with ac but it wasn't that beautiful and 10 dollars extra per night. The host it was super nice i really like him. It was a 10/10. The hotel its in between of the jungle and you can see birds and squirrels. A bit difficult to find a tuk tuk or taxi just in the street but the host always help us for find one driver. The owner a good guy, we didn't meet him but we talked with him by phone and he was super helpful There's available bikes, amazing!

We had a very nice stay! Nirukthie & her husband made us feel at home! The food was topnotch, fresh fish and prawns cooked to perfection! Real treat! They were also very helpfull in arranging transport, and renting motorbikes. The cabanas are on the beach and excellent beach for swimming. Beautiful quiet beach garden, with many frangipan trees. Villa Setha Wadi was a great find with an amazing location right on the lagoon - beautiful pool, lounge chairs & kayaks. Our a/c waterfront ensuite room was spacious & quiet, bed was super comfortable. Food was delicious and the chef was able to veganify all our meals. The staff are extremely accomodation. Overall we had an excellent stay. Matt also is an excellent & very experienced kite instructor, with plenty of equipment in excellent condition.
