Beautiful lake and lagoon views property, off the beaten path so was an amazing destination for tranquility and peace if you’re looking for that. It’s a self sustaining property, you’ll have everything you need here. There are boat rides and walks around the property the Kumarakom bird sanctuary is right next door. The staff here is exceptional and they really took care of us. F&B manager Dinesh and his lovely team were always attentive and giving us recommendations and always serving and greeting you with a smile. We had a great Ayurvedic massage at their property. We stayed in the private pool villas and our back yard was a beautiful pond with lilies and birds. The front veranda opened out to lake Vembanad, certainly a memorable stay.

The hotel is amazing, the staff wonderful. I loved the yoga classes. The Ayurvedic massage was sensational. The talk on Ayurveda with Dr Shwetha was absolutely fascinating and inspiring.

a wonderful honeymoon:My husband and I chose to start our honeymoon in the Flamingo hotel, we only had to stay for 3 days because we wanted to try different places but as soon as we entered we felt a feeling of peace and well-being and we decided to extend it for the whole week and notwe could have made a better choice, the staff was welcoming right away, from the guys at the reception to the guys in the kitchen and living room, the girls who took care of the room and the staff at the entrance, all of whom were kind as ever, plus I was ill the first two days and they always tooktook care of me and made me available for anything, apart from the human aspect, Flamingo is a true paradise, we enjoyed a week between the fabulous food served and fresh fish every day, the fantastic massage service, the best I've had never done (besides themthe Ayurvedic treatments are the best) the peace of its river which with the canoe leads directly to the sea in just a few minutes was a true fairytale, Marari beach is a dream, a wonderful beach where the inhabitants work every day to take care of it and keep it clean , natureit is immense around, also they provide local people with whom we can go on tours around, we met Sebastian and James two fantastic people who allowed us to enter and get to know the real culture of Kerala and Sebastian in particular with whom we spent more time AndHe was like a friend right away, took us everywhere and was able to advise, furthermore the owner who we had the honor of meeting with his children is truly remarkable in kindness and elegance, we must say that it was the best stay we have ever had and we're so happy andgrateful that we can't wait to be able to return, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and recommend this place to everyone, a real journey for the soul and the heart and one's physical well-being, the structure is phenomenal and then a detail not to be forgotten, thank you thank you see you soon Flamingo, Sara and...

The hotel is beautifully designed with great attention to detail. The decor is stylish and the statues and artefacts decorating the rooms were charming. Our room was very spacious with a seating area inside and on the balcony. The king sized bed was incredibly comfortable and our large bathroom/ dressing room was perfect with everything you might need. We a had a warm welcome despite arriving early. We had travelled around Kerala for over two weeks so were very happy to spend much of our time by the lovely pool and garden. The food was varied, plentiful and very tasty. We’re definitely going back home a few pounds heavier! We were sad to be flying out the morning of the Onam celebrations so they arranged for us to watch the singing and dancing rehearsals the night before and cooked a wonderful banana leaf Kerala meal which we very much enjoyed. The staff were all amazing and couldn’t be more attentive and helpful. From the cleaning staff the cook, through to our hosts we say a big thank you…especially to Lakshmy, Jasmin Ramesh Babu, Asun, Andy and Sreejith…

Excellent service and courteous staff.

It was very thoughtful of Anandhu to contact me through whatsapp, then ask when I would be arriving, providing travel directions, and even locations of restaurants to eat at. Anandhu and his mother are so kind, helpful and friendly with check in and ensuring that I would be comfortable with my stay, the rooms are large and comfortable, I liked the seated area outside of my cabin looking towards the pool, the breakfast was amazing, so much food for me. Great WiFi, They offer push bikes, which was great as you really cant get around unless you have wheels, as everything is very far away.

Location, the food was amazing, tranquility, ambiance, staff was very prepared & the doctor was available (special thanks to Ayurvedic practitioner Asha!), treatments, view, basically 10/10
