Buahan, a Banyan Tree Escape features free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a garden and shared lounge in Payangan. Located around 17 km from Neka Art Museum, the resort with free WiFi is also 17 km away from Tegallalang Rice Terrace. The resort has a terrace and mountain views, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar.

Buahan gives a completely new perspective in a hotel stay (a modern take on a traditional Balinese house) while giving you a true experience of the culture and appreciation of nature and wilderness. You won't leave without learning something about yourself. It is an escape with an open, breathtaking view of the world like no other, an elegantly designed room using natural materials for construction and furnishing, with hospitality that is genuine and warm, and cultivated foods to detoxify your body and soul. I could only dream of a place like this away from a polluted, busy civilization. If you don't like this place for any reason, you are missing the point.

Review: My recent stay at Hanging Gardens of Bali was nothing short of a magical experience. From the moment I arrived, I was mesmerized by the beauty and tranquility of this hidden gem nestled in the heart of Bali's lush jungle. Accommodations: The accommodations at Hanging Gardens of Bali are simply breathtaking. My villa was perched high above the treetops, offering panoramic views of the surrounding jungle and the Ayung River below. The villa itself was a masterpiece of design, with luxurious furnishings, a private infinity pool, and all the amenities one could desire for a truly indulgent stay. Service: The service at Hanging Gardens of Bali was second to none. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the attentive care throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every moment was nothing short of perfect. Special thanks to the concierge team for arranging unforgettable excursions and ensuring that all my needs were met with a smile. Dining: The dining experience at Hanging Gardens of Bali was a highlight of my stay. The restaurant offers a tantalizing array of gourmet dishes inspired by traditional Balinese cuisine, all served in a breathtaking setting overlooking the jungle. Each meal was a culinary delight, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and impeccable presentation. Facilities: The facilities at Hanging Gardens of Bali are truly world-class. From the infinity pool that seems to float amidst the treetops to the serene spa where I indulged in a blissful massage, every aspect of the resort was designed to provide guests with the ultimate in relaxation and rejuvenation. Location: Located in the heart of Bali's lush jungle, Hanging Gardens of Bali offers the perfect retreat for those seeking peace and tranquility. Yet, despite its secluded location, the resort is just a short drive away from Ubud, allowing guests to easily explore the cultural attractions and vibrant markets of this charming town. Overall Experience: WOW

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Padi Bali Retreat offers accommodation in Payangan, 5 km from Elephant Safari Park. Free private parking is available on site. The property offers a historical show of Balinese life performed by the the staff.

Fantastic villa, in the middle of the paddy fields. If you're looking to get away from it all, this is one good option! The villa is made from bamboo and really nice to be in touch with nature. Lots of nature sounds, and only the occasional sound of a scooter with a loud exhaust in the distance. Real paddy fields by the entrance and surrounding the property. The staff were great, always attentive. It is super peaceful, to watch the birds and locals in the fields. Do bear in mind that working in the fields is backbreaking work so locals there may not be too keen to wave to you. You can watch the sunrise from the pool area, we got up around 6-7am and it was a great start to the day - it is something you can enjoy here from the location which many other hotels simply cant match... due to being in the middle of a paddy field. You can get 4G+ LTE reception at the villa no problem. This is not a negative point, but if your hot water runs out, know that each villa's hot water is powered by a small gas tank underneath each villa so if you only have cold water, you need to let them know - and there is no phone so you'll need to do this by going to the reception whether its raining or dark. It is just something to be aware of, part of the nature of being on holiday and taking things easy! They are friendly and come really quick! Borrow an umbrella in case you don't have one as it can rain in Bali. The restaurant serves up really basic food which can also be delivered to the room, but you will be better off going elsewhere to be honest. You may struggle to find a Gojek or Bluebird taxi that comes up here, especially if coming from Ubud, the airport or Denpasar, but we did - just persist, and try again!

A beautiful place in the jungle. The view from the veranda or the restaurant was breathtaking. The food was absolutely world class. Both the breakfast and the choices for dinner. I have rarely eaten so well. The resort itself is also magnificent, real luxury. Remember, it is in the jungle: the animals there were there first and man has taken this place by force!!! And there will be animals!
