I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The rooms, staff service, and facilities were always good. However, this time I was very disappointed.
It started with the reservation. I sent a message to the hotel to reserve a table at the restaurant a week before my arrival, but I received no response. Eventually, I had to call them from overseas the day before I arrived to make the reservation myself. Luckily, I was able to secure a table, but I couldn’t preorder their signature dish. Fortunately, the front desk staff helped arrange this for me, but I still found their communication to be inefficient.
Regarding the room, I have stayed here many times and always booked the same room category. However, this time the room was very small—about half the size of the usual room—yet I still paid a similar price. Since I was only staying for two nights, I didn’t request a room change.
Lastly, the shower didn’t drain properly after use, leaving a pool of water in the shower area. This issue needs to be fixed.

The conservation works were carried out nicely with good maintenance, the environment is clean and tidy. It is such a pleasure and treasured experience to be able to live in the heritage built more than a century ago. The location of this hotel is good as well, we can experience the small community culture and enjoy the nature there.

Beautiful, fun hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was acceptable, but not outstanding in any way. We ended up going to the next resort over for multiple meals.
The location is perfect: right at the main promenade, main luxury shopping halls and the ferry station.
Breakfast is top, 2 good restaurants and a bar on the territory.

The location was brilliant. Housekeeping lady was very friendly. The hotel is old but very clean, and also feeling very luxury for the price & the room's space are good and big.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay truly memorable. I would like to particularly commend one Taiwanese staff member who went above and beyond to assist me.
Staying on the 11th floor, I was delighted with the extra double bed and the walk-in wardrobe, which added to the comfort and luxury of my stay.
