Boasting a bar, Aurora Queen Resort Igloos is situated in Saariselka. Featuring a restaurant, the 4-star resort has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service.

Perfect stay in AQ! People are so friendly and kind! Food in AQ restaurants is awesome too! I especially like the breakfast buffet. Wide range of choices and good taste 👅 although we couldn’t see the northern lights that night due to heavy snow, we had an enjoyable night in the beautiful igloo. Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Set in Saariselkä, Northern Lights Village Saariselkä features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi. The property has its own reindeer paddock, where guests are welcome to watch and pet the reindeer. Free parking is available.

First of all the location of the hotel is perfect in nice and quite place with no light pollution. Cabin was big enough, clean and warm with beautiful view on the Aurora if you are lucky (we were lucky :-)). Breakfast and dinner were in the form of buffet where everyone will find it's prefered meal. For example we really enjoyed local smoked (grill taste) salmon for a diner and variation of food for a breakfast. Before leaving we rented a cross-country sky from a really nice and helpful receptionist which gave us all information we needed :-) There were more options for a free time, but we did not use them that time...maybe later :-) If you want to see the Aurora or just relax, this is a perfect spot :-)

Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort offers 2 à la carte restaurants, which serve Laplandic specialities such as reindeer and char-grilled salmon. The hotel’s smoke sauna even has its own restaurant, Savusauna.

-Easy access from airport to the resort- through the shuttle price is reasonable - very helpful corporative staff and receptionist -The igloo is totally wonderful experience i search in the neighbor countries to find igloo transparent 180 degrees , small but any ways i was only one, very warm from inside , bathroom is having bidet in the 2 people igloo. - attraction in the resort are really amazing ,a bit expensive but its all in one resort easy to arrange in the website. - food are amazing, appropriate quantity breakfast is good and dinner as well. - spot to easily hunt aurora, the purpose to come all the way is to hunt the Aurora, in last night I noticed that i saw a white light which was the beginning of the northern lights , I informed the receptionist then they activated the alarm , it was very dreamy time , easy in the accommodation it self. - in-spite that showers are not included in the 2 persons igloo it was very easy access may be 2 minutes or even less distance, private separate multiple showers for both genders, towels are provided as well as u can prepare ur warm drinks before going out. - i was celebrating my birthday, yes the cake was expensive but yet it was afforded especially that i don’t know how to arrange transportation to the shops out side within one day arrangement - forest area is huge and amazing u can enjoy ur walk alone with your thoughts, time to be away For me it was my first time to visit and not the last time absolutely

The independent wooden house has local characteristics, the room facilities are complete, and it is close to the ski resort, making it suitable for family travel.

Experience of Igloo stay was as expected. Room & Bathroom too small. Not even a proper mirror in the room/bathroom. Resort location is quite good - just off the main road and very short walk from bus station.

This is an amazing place. Close enough to Saariselka to have everything (shops, ski resort and general infrastructure), but far enough to be on our own in the middle of Lapland. Yes, this is one of the places where you can actually see the northern lights from your front door. Besides that the apartment is suuuper functional, we could've easily lived here months without missing anything. One of the best places we've ever been!

The design of the igloo and the wonderful view, the friendly staff, the excellent food, the overall resort is perfect (not too big so that you have the impression to be the only guest there🙂) We had a wonderful snowmobile tour and Northern Lights tour - thank you, Bjoörn!!!

Beautiful location - set directly in the woods. A special treat when you are looking for a calm and relaxing holiday. We saw the aurora on 50% of the nights. The food is amazing - the buffet is of great quality and very delicious. We stayed at an Aurora cabin and loved the quality of the resort. We definitely want to come back!

The situation is the unique thing that I appreciate in this resort. If you heard or read that this hotel is a luxury, IT’S TOTALY FALSE.
