Facing the beachfront, Lahami Bay Resort offers 4-star accommodation in Abū Ghuşūn and features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden. Among the various facilities are a terrace, a bar, as well as a private beach area. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared lounge and free WiFi.

The hotel was amazing, lovely staff, great food, beautiful house reefs. It was a paradise. Half board suited us perfectly, with small restaurant serving great lunches. There were excellent facilities, including an ATM, so no need to carry lots of money. Also, the diving school had all the kit available for rent at a fair cost, so snorkeling was very easy. A handful of vendors nearby, but no where to buy snacks - could do with a vending machine or two. WiFi was great, and allowed good internet access - even on the beach! The staff were attentive and kind speaking English, Italian and German. Snorkeling was amazing (although climate change is harming and bleaching the reef). Lots of charismatic fish, sharks, ray, eels and turtles. Hotel runs a fairly tight lifeguarding service, so felt very safe in water and it was a perfect experience for my partner who had never snorkeled before. They look after the reefs very well and have a shallow baby reef which is perfect for less competent swimmers, while the banana reef is stunning and perfect for experienced swimmers and divers. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you like swimming in the sea and meeting all the tropical fishes.

Nestled beside 1 km of private sandy beach, Shams Alam Beach Resort provides fun and relaxation in Wadi Gimal Nature Reserve, with an on-site diving centre and camel riding opportunities.

Shams Alam showcases traditional Islamic architecture throughout its impressive resort. The creative outdoor terrace and heated pool offer an ideal place for enjoying the Egyptian sun. Just steps away, Shams Alam’s private beach plays host to plenty of action, including volleyball, tennis and of course, the professional diving centre.

Wonderful location with great house reef. Diving centre and boat staff like family, looked after us so well. Food much more varied than we expected, we ate like kings. Nice to have fresh beer, wine and espresso coffee available all day. Great value for money.

The reef and the sea are amazing. The staff is very gentle and gives support quickly. The food was good especially in relation to the Egypt standard. The resort externally (garden, bar, building) appear great. The room was clean even if a little old. There is a Scuba Diving Center in the resort and there is a bus shuttle for the close Hamata Kit Village.

Lovely place to enjoy private space, great snorkeling and diving experiences as well as beautiful little beaches in proximity. The resort is pretty far from other cities and you can reach other cities or attractions ( Wadi el Gemal National Park or some exceptional beaches) only by organized trips with taxis.

Location of resort and it's isolation makes it a great place for peaceful rest with great access to coral reefs just few meters from your room. Coral reefs are rich and full of variety of fishes, turtles and sea cows. Definitely the best way to spend time here. Rooms, facilities and overall feeling is above expectation (good value for money). Food in resto was varied and tasty. Maybe breakfast lacks salty variety a bit. Personel was always helpful and in good mood :) Thanks for all, if going for snorchling I will come back to this resort.
