Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal on-site amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions, and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas, or apartments.
Several generations of the same family live on the surrounding property and run this business. Just the friendly atmosphere alone deserves 10+ rating. Very peaceful beautiful property even has it's small own hike trail. Very tasty and fresh food. This is not for all inclusive megaresort type of person, this is for someone seeking immersion into the true peaceful rural atmosphere.

your table each morning. Coffee and bread pudding at 3pm! Comfortable bed. Luxury, organic shampoo, soap and lotion. Friendly, helpful staff. (Hi Eva and Emmanuel!) A peaceful, private setting but dining options within walking distance.
The family owned property was welcoming, very helpful, close walking distance to restaurants and shops, yet surrounded by trees and wildlife wandering by. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very fresh and delicious, not a buffet but service at tables with the eggs cooked to our choice. On our trip we stayed at 4 locations and this was by far our favorite, even beating out a luxury resort The Parador. The friendliness, cleanliness and hospitality cant be beat.
I’m going to give this place 5 stars, but you may not. It depends on what you want and expect. If you like to be pampered at a 5-star resort, look elsewhere. Flor de Bromelia is perched on a mountainside with a magnificent vista that sweeps 35km to the sea. The family that owns this small place is warm and friendly. Breakfast is delicious, and we got to enjoy it in the company of monkeys and coatimundi. It’s a short (but steep) walk into the town.

If you know want you are booking you won't be disappointed. It's not a 5 star resort so don't come in with those expectations and you will be happy.
I rarely give the very top reviews to a property. But this one deserves it. It wasn’t the luxury of the place but more the sense of peace and security it gives. The location is ideal 5 minute walk from the heart of the village
