I recently had the pleasure of staying at Blackbird Byron Bay, and while my visit was cut short due to a family emergency, the experience was incredibly positive. The staff were exceptionally helpful throughout my stay, showing genuine care and concern. The owner, in particular, went above and beyond to accommodate my unexpected departure, which was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to dine at the property, but the hospitality I experienced has me looking forward to returning. On my next visit, I'm eager to fully embrace all that Blackbird Byron Bay has to offer, including their dining experience!

The location was superb, very peaceful and relaxing. The spa steam room and sauna were excellent and the rain forest setting with direct access to the beach was perfect. Loved the extra touches of coffee and treats. Bed was super comfy and would love to know the make of the mattress! Thank you for a great stay.

The Mullum Motel is well located in the heart of Mullumbimby. It is a bit of a nuisance that you have to go to a local hotel (The Middle Pub) to get your room key, but otherwise everything is fine. In fact, we had an excellent night's sleep because the room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Mullumbimby has done it tough since the 2022 floods, so don't expect the height of luxury - but you will get a good value room in a central location.
