Vryburg is a great town to stop over when traveling in the North West, to Botswana or for any long distance stop over that you might be passing there from.
We used Harties as a base and drove out to other attractions in Gauteng and North West; it was perfect for that. There is still lots to see and do even if you're not into watersports. The town is quite peaceful but still offers a wide variety of amenities, restaurants and shops.
This is a fantastic resort to visit, located in the North Western part of South Africa. Offers fine dining and has a very good outdoor swimming pool. Lots of activities offered at the resort. I would recommend it to anybody visiting South Africa.
Rustenburg is a peaceful place but just like any other area, it was a little difficult for me to find my way around since it was my first time visiting the North West province.

I liked that the apartment had fans everywhere. This was very convenient as the place was very hot. North West weather very sunny especially at night. The place and facilities were clean. The staff was very helpful and kind, special shoutout to Evelina and Koos. It's not a busy and loud place if you're a fan of tranquility like me.

The location is very good. The breakfast and dinner is very delicious. The staff was very helpfull. It is very children friendly. There is a kids pool and playground and even kiddies programm. Everything was very clean and neat.

What a place! I could honestly go on forever about how amazing Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge is! We were return travelers and had another truly incredible stay. From stunningly beautiful rooms, wonderful and very friendly staff, absolutely amazing wildlife and delicious food- nothing is short of perfect. We just wish we stayed longer! We will definitely be back!

The place is gorgeous! The staff is very nice and welcoming! The food was also good (and I am a very difficult person when it comes to eating)!! I had several amazing game drives and my driver (Jan) was super fan and carrying; I really appreciate the efforts he put to make my experience throughout the drive incredible!
