Carla was so easy to deal with. She sent us detailed messages with pictures and detailed instructions on how to find the apartment and get keys. I am not south African, so had some question on load shedding and she replied immediately with all of my requests. The house was equipped with battery lights (already charged) and candles so we were well prepared. The apartment was so clean and the beds were amazing - so comfortable!! If I ever had the opportunity to visit Knysna again, I would definitely return to this apartment!!

I have been to many places in South Africa, but I have never been so satisfied with any place as Ria's Rest. Extremely quiet cottage, very very clean, extremely friendly owner and her family... Oh, and there are two super cute puppies. I booked four nights but ended up having to add an extra night because everything was so perfect. If I didn't have to go back to work, I would have stayed another week. If I go to Knysna or Sedgefield again, I will definitely stay at Ria's Rest again 100% recommended.

Our favourite place we stayed in South Africa! Beautiful chalet with views of Knysna, very spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Attention to detail was fantastic, with plenty of toiletries, linen, battery lamps for loadshedding, great Wi-Fi that never cut out. Felt very private and secure and the hosts were absolutely wonderful and had great recommendations for our stay. Check in and communication was great. Quick drive into town centre and parking was secure and spacious. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Everything here was absolutely amazing! What stood out the most, was the kindness of the host family. They make your stay comfortable, relaxed, and memorable. They are all very kind and are always there to help and give good tips about what to do in the area. We also loved the food they prepared. We had dinner there twice and definitely had the best malva pudding we had during our stay in South Africa! Also the breakfast is delicious. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here when paying a visit to Knysna

Sherlee, Jo and the little dog Lula are the sweetest hosts. We really felt home away from home, and everything exceeded our expectations. We have travelled a lot, and this is our best experience so far. Sherlee did everything possible and beyond to make our vacation in Knysna a fantastic one. The apartment is in a very calm and safe area up on a hill with a stunning view of the lagoon. If we come back to South Africa we will definitely make sure to book at Kindred Spirit Guest Suites again.

The Amanzi Boutique Hotel is superbly located on leisure island looking across the lagoon toward Knysna Heads. Our room had an amazing balcony where we could relax, sunbathe and enjoy that view. The staff (and there seemed to be quite a few of them) all went out of their way to ensure that every request we made was attended to and we wanted for nothing. Advice on restaurants etc was very good; the restaurant shuttle ride (200 Rand, return) was very comfortable and prompt.

The Private Estate, Lagoon Apartment is a lovely place in the Countryside to dicover Knysna, Lagoon islands, the Heads and the pearls on the near Indian Ocean coast Brenton-On-Sea and Buffels Bay. The apartment is light in a beautiful in white style with pritty details, and has a small patio with a view into the Garden. Ohne must emphasize the pleasant and cordial hospitality , and, last not least, a perfect and sensible organization.

The stay at Glenview Heads Apartments was by far thee most amazing experience!! Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean and complete with all the necessities i.e. an iron 😄 The property is located on the iconic Knysna Heads with scenic mountain and ocean views 💙🌊 I would definitely recommend it to anyone, looking for a comfortable and affordable place to enjoy a vacation. Pincushion Heights is the prefect location for busy Summer months; away from the crowds. Its close enough to go in to Knysna and a couple of minutes drive to Brenton Beach. Stunning views from the beautifully designed grounds; loved the sundowner deck. Peter and Ursula are charming and accommodating hosts. Apartment was are tastefully decorated and spotless. Booking tip - book the room with a balcony.

Me and my group of 5 friends stayed in a dorm for 6 people at Island Vibe Hostel in Knysna, and I am very happy we chose to do so. The staff was very helpful and kind, and they made it feel like a homey stay. The fire was prepared every evening and the hostel offers lots of information about fun activities in the surrounding area. Great stay and only wish we could have stayed for longer !

Staying overnight in Knysna Elephant Park Lodge it's an absolutely unique experience! No questions about it! Our room was spacious, clean and with a view of elephant boma. "Meet our Herd" is included in a room price which is great because you will have enough time to fully experience your presents among the elephants! Strongly recommend that place to everybody!

Keedols and Vickers are amazing hosts. I opted to have breakfast and dinner at the inn and so enjoyed the wonderful home cooked meals. A South African brai the first night and a delicious chicken curry the next. Keedols is a wonderful chef and a warm and gracious host. And Vickers was my guide around Knysna for two days. Really enjoyed my stay here.

The hotel is in a beautiful location between Plettenberg and Knysna and easy driving to both The place is lovely and the staff were so kind and helpful There is a choice of three restaurants - the one in the hotel but also short safe walks through the grounds to Zinzi and the Tsala treetops restaurant All are very good and reasonably priced

A luxurious and peaceful place for relaxation in 15 minutes drive from Knysna Waterfront. Rooms are really spacious, you also have a balcony or a private garden with a private hot tub. Yes, your own hot tub in your garden!:) Since it is the golf club’s hotel, you can walk around beautiful golf courses (if you’re not a player)

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation in Knysna, South Africa. The surroundings were very well maintained and created a pleasant atmosphere. The cleanliness of the house was very good and the hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful during our visit. We highly recommend this accommodation for a great stay.

Perfect location: safe, right at shops and excellent restaurants. The Waterfront is the place to be in Knysna. Apartment: lots of wonderful details to make our stay comfortable, really well equipped. Backup for TV and wifi during loadshedding. Great ceiling fan in bedroom. Water pressure great. Very nice hosts

Great little apartment in Knysna centre. Good location to walk to all shops and waterfront. Clean and cosy apartment. Kim was a good host and provided clear instructions on how to access car park and apartment. I left a shirt in the wardrobe, but Kim arranged to get it back to me (thank you again)

The apartment was absolutely perfect for our needs. Situated in the Centre of town, 2min walk from the Waterfront. The apartment has everything you need including a secure parking bay and beds are really comfy too! Would definitely recommend and will stay again when next in Knysna.

Lovely, clean, secure and comfortable apartment. Ample space, tastefully decorated. Great location, central to explore Tsitsikamma and Knysna plus walking distance to the local Spar and some restaurants. Short driving distance to shopping centres with the big retailers.

Everything about the place was great. The service, location and facilities. Good value for money. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I've had just before checking out. aha The Rex Hotel will be my 1st choice when looking for a place to stay in Knysna
