My husband and I stayed in the upstairs apartment suite for a night and it was lovely! Although the room was quite small, it was comfortable and big enough for what we needed it for (we were there for a wedding) and it had the usual required amenities for a pleasant stay! We were close enough to shops and restaurants in Hermanus and we were able to walk to the beach! The room was clean and tidy, beautifully decorated and had a very comfortable King sized bed. Definitely good value for money! We were very happy with our stay and would recommend!

This hostel in Hermanus is an absolute gem, especially for backpackers seeking a well-organized and comfortable stay. Jacqueline and Marcus, the delightful hosts, go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Jacqueline was exceptionally helpful, offering invaluable tips on activities and the best local spots to eat. The rooms are lovely, peaceful, and equipped with everything you need for a convenient stay. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we will definitely be returning on our next visit to Hermanus. Highly recommended!

We were impressed by the standard of accommodation everywhere we stayed in South Africa, but this place was out on its own. The property is beautiful and immaculately maintained and every member of staff we met was charming and helpful. I recommend a first floor room for the most spectacular view and the perfect spot to enjoy the delicious and plentiful breakfast box. It is a very short and easy walk into Hermanus along the cliff top path, where there are a host of great eating options. We really didn't want to leave!

The apartment was just perfect .The view was to die for -waking up every morning to a view of the bay -with dolphins and scattered whales . The apartment is well maintained and well equipped. The only issue was water shedding due to a leak in the complex - but there was 20l still drinking water available and the times of water shedding was well communicated. Janine was always available for any issues. Highly recommended for a perfect Hermanus stay.

I was looking for a place with great views and the potential to spot whales right from your room and Hermanus Beachfront Lodge did not disappoint. We were able to see whales while sitting in bed (OK, in some distance, but still incredible!)! There is also a great walking path just a few metres from the hotel to explore the shoreline. Tito was a wonderful host who made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.

This is truly an exceptional property. The apartment is modern, well specked, spacious, exceptionally clean and has the most amazing view of the ocean. The complex has a swimming pool and entertainment area that literally borders on the ocean and affords one with amazing views of the sunrises and sunsets. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to spend time in the Hermanus area.

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed in. The house is very stylish. On one side there is a view on the mountains, on the other - blue ocean waves. Silent and peaceful. You can find everything in the house, but even if something is missing - Mia will help! <3 We would love to return to South Africa, to Hermanus, to this house. :) Kind regards, Evgenii and Natalia

Very special place. Like many others in South Africa - specially in Garden Route - the staff was specially careful and nice. It was our honeymoon and they manage to guarantee everything, including a boat ride from Gansbaai. The property is absolutely beautiful, and the city of Hermanus is a very special destination to enjoy.

Kijl met us in Hermanus and we followed him to the apartments, where he collected the keys and made sure that everything is in order. Kijl thank you for you hospitality. The hotel staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. the rooms had an amazing view of the ocean and rooms were stunning. if i could have extended my stay, i definitely would have as i enjoyed every second and hermanus is such a beautiful place. would highly recommend staying at Misty Waves

La Fontaine Guest House is situated perfectly at the ocean in Hermanus, only a 5min walk away from the city centre. The surrounding is very safe, the view great. Rooms are very clean, staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking Lot is spacious and easily accesible.

We had a great stay in Hermanus. The apartment is very pretty and has everything you need. It is in a quiet area close to the promenade. Communication with Jenny was very easy and she gave us lots of great recommendations for the area. We would totally come back!

The host/owner Suna was super amazing with check in everyday. The apartment is furnished with every detail in mind. Clean and comfortable. Best location - near the Marine Hotel and the Hermanus restaurant hub. Secure parking inside. We loved it.

The location was absolutely central. The hostess’s communication was excellent and it was a delight to deal with her. The neatness of the apartment was impeccable and well equipped. We would definitely visit it again when in Hermanus.

The living room windows are floor-to-ceiling glass giving a view out over the sea, absolutely stunning. The apartment is clean and well-equipped. It's a short walk from the centre of Hermanus to eat and drink.

Very centrally located apartment, restaurants and cliff path within walking distance, safe parking, very nice hostess, terrace in a beautiful garden, do not miss restaurant Lizette in Hermanus, if you have a car

The best part of the apartment was the location. It was right in the middle of the town. Also just a floor up was our favorite bar in Hermanus. The apartment was likewise comfortable and amenities were complete.

A very friendly host and helpful in providing information about the area, things to do, places to visit. The apartment is in a quiet, safe area, walking distance from the sea and Hermanus walk way.

Located just on the edge of Hermanus right beside ficks pool, they had just opened the new section of the hotel and the new rooms are fabulous but what makes this hotel even better is the staff.
