My husband and I stayed in the upstairs apartment suite for a night and it was lovely! Although the room was quite small, it was comfortable and big enough for what we needed it for (we were there for a wedding) and it had the usual required amenities for a pleasant stay! We were close enough to shops and restaurants in Hermanus and we were able to walk to the beach! The room was clean and tidy, beautifully decorated and had a very comfortable King sized bed. Definitely good value for money! We were very happy with our stay and would recommend!

Auberge Burgundy Hotel is nicely located in the center of Hermanus with the promenade, shops and restaurants right across the street. The rooms are spacious and beauifully equipped with lots of attention to detail. Staff are very friendly and helpful: a hair-dryer that wasn't working properly was immediately replaced. Communication from booking to check-in was fantastic. The Frances restaurant has an amazing breakfast offer and staff were absolutely incredible. There is also a security officer who helps with the parking.

We were impressed by the standard of accommodation everywhere we stayed in South Africa, but this place was out on its own. The property is beautiful and immaculately maintained and every member of staff we met was charming and helpful. I recommend a first floor room for the most spectacular view and the perfect spot to enjoy the delicious and plentiful breakfast box. It is a very short and easy walk into Hermanus along the cliff top path, where there are a host of great eating options. We really didn't want to leave!

The apartment was just perfect .The view was to die for -waking up every morning to a view of the bay -with dolphins and scattered whales . The apartment is well maintained and well equipped. The only issue was water shedding due to a leak in the complex - but there was 20l still drinking water available and the times of water shedding was well communicated. Janine was always available for any issues. Highly recommended for a perfect Hermanus stay.

The property lies perfectly at the seaside near Hermanus. The house is wonderful and splendid - as is the overwhelming breakfast, freshly prepared in the morning. Competing with another place in Cape Town our best breakfast we had traveling South Africa! And made just right for you from owners and staff. The room is not huge but very tidy and nice for sleeping. It had an ocean view but just from the side... well, we just stayed there for 1 night.

The hosts and the staff are super nice. They are very helpful and have many tips on what to do, where to go etc. The apartment is unbelievably beautiful and created with so many details. The view over Hermanus, the bay and the ocean is amazing. You find everything you need. We loved the prepared fire place (as it was still quite cold) and I was a huge fan of the heating blanket in the bed. The breakfast is delicious and a perfect start for the day.

I was looking for a place with great views and the potential to spot whales right from your room and Hermanus Beachfront Lodge did not disappoint. We were able to see whales while sitting in bed (OK, in some distance, but still incredible!)! There is also a great walking path just a few metres from the hotel to explore the shoreline. Tito was a wonderful host who made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.

This is truly an exceptional property. The apartment is modern, well specked, spacious, exceptionally clean and has the most amazing view of the ocean. The complex has a swimming pool and entertainment area that literally borders on the ocean and affords one with amazing views of the sunrises and sunsets. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to spend time in the Hermanus area.

Esplanade Hermanus is beautiful place to stay if you visiting Hermanus. It is located right at the Gearing Point where you can watch whales flipping over surface- outstanding experience. Apartments are super clean and tidy, spaceous with all equipment provided. Very friendly, helpful and all the time smiling staff made our Hermanus experience even greater. I can only recommend it. This was one of the best places we have ever stayed in. The house is very stylish. On one side there is a view on the mountains, on the other - blue ocean waves. Silent and peaceful. You can find everything in the house, but even if something is missing - Mia will help! <3 We would love to return to South Africa, to Hermanus, to this house. :) Kind regards, Evgenii and Natalia

Amazing little hotel with the most amazing staff who offered the best hotel service I think I have ever received in South Africa. They were extremely attentive and friendly and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The pool area is fabulous with all day sun and the location is perfect for a little walk into central Hermanus and its bars and restaurants.

The location is excellent and because access is in a gated alley, very safe. The facilities, the size of the room, bathrooms etc. are excellent and way more than one would expect from "hostel" accommodation. It was was more than I expected and I will certainly recommend your establishment to anyone staying in Hermanus on a budget.

Very special place. Like many others in South Africa - specially in Garden Route - the staff was specially careful and nice. It was our honeymoon and they manage to guarantee everything, including a boat ride from Gansbaai. The property is absolutely beautiful, and the city of Hermanus is a very special destination to enjoy.

The pictures of this apartment do not do it justice. It's a fabulous place, fhe view from the balcony is just amazing, mountains one side and a distant sea view on the other. Everything has been thought of with condiments and cooking facilities Slightly out from Hermanus in a beautiful residential area

The hotel staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. the rooms had an amazing view of the ocean and rooms were stunning. if i could have extended my stay, i definitely would have as i enjoyed every second and hermanus is such a beautiful place. would highly recommend staying at Misty Waves

We had a great stay in Hermanus. The apartment is very pretty and has everything you need. It is in a quiet area close to the promenade. Communication with Jenny was very easy and she gave us lots of great recommendations for the area. We would totally come back!

The location is everything with this apartment - it is bang in the middle of Hermanus. It's perfect! The apartment was spotless and beautifully furnished. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was proper SA standard - size wise and water pressure wise.

location great. Very tidy.disability access manageable. ample seating. Decor is luxury. very quiet environment, truly relaxing decor. kitchen functional. only stay at hermanus beach club if in the area. Mr D food delivery. Prefer hermanus over Club Mikanos.

The host/owner Suna was super amazing with check in everyday. The apartment is furnished with every detail in mind. Clean and comfortable. Best location - near the Marine Hotel and the Hermanus restaurant hub. Secure parking inside. We loved it.
