The Lord Milner Hotel is an antique wonder, with modern facilities. I had a beautiful room with a lounge area, enormous bathroom, king-size bed with top sheet and aircon. My companion was moved from her original room into a charming one with a balcony overlooking the original road. The free bus tour and ghost story are a delight and Johnny leads everyone in a great singalong in the Laird’s Arms. The dinner was excellent and the included breakfast huge. A definite treat along the route to Cape Town.

Schulteheim Hotel is located in the town center of Uniondale, Opposite the Historical Dutch Reformed Church designed in 1884 by Famous Carl Otto Hager. The hotel isn't much out of ordinary, but the hospitality & helpfulness of manager Regi, made our short stay in Uniondale memorable and pleasant. The breakfast was great as well.

Just 1.1 miles from Christian Barnard Museum Beaufort West and 1.1 miles from Chris Barnard Museum - Die Pastorie, @Mango's features accommodations in Beaufort West, with a garden and barbecue... It was not our first time at Mango's and it won't be the last! We especially enjoy the large unit for it feels like home. We enjoy the living room, full kitchen and the braai area, which we made full use of it to relax after a long drive. Great location with easy access to all the services (gas station, grocery stores etc.) as well as safe and secure parking. Thank you Irma! On a side note, we actually thought it would be a good base to explore the Karoo National Park, which is just outside of town.
