The hotel has lovely doormen one of whom even drove us in the golf buggy to nearby Marble restaurant to ensure our safety. The room we stayed in had a seperate sitting area which was made up into a bed for our daughter, it had its own tv so she could relax with room service instead of coming out with us. The room is large with a seperate toilet from the walk in shower, great when 3 people getting ready in the morning. The room has a Nespresso machine which is always welcome! The breakfast included in our rate at the fabulous Proud Mary was perfect as it was a la carte for the main course with some juice, pastries and fruits to help yourself to. Could not fault Voco, location, the friendly and helpful staff and the freshness of the decor all made for a great nights in this city.

Pretoria is a bit safer in Gauteng province. Safety is the most important issue in South Africa . Favourite places i visited include the Union Buildings , Brooklyn shopping mall ,visited the museum too . Taxis are easy to access there were plenty in the streets .
Minimal tourist info in town. Useless touirst info at the airport. Not design for backpack travelers as people there will ask you to either take a taxi or book a tour. Easy and fairly safe to walk in different attractions when you are in downtown. Had to spend long time asking people and finally got help in Gauteng Tourism to book a taxi to Maropeng,the cradle of the mankind via Seweto which is nice to visit. Gauteng Tourism moved to 124 Main Street which is opposite the 'Top of Africa'in town. Don't forget to buy souvenir in Rosebank art craft market and dine in Mendela Square in Sandton. Both satellite towns can be reached by Gautrain and bith have more tourists

Increase the number of family rooms as Midred is a suitable place to visit with a family, quiet area for family, is in the centre of almost Cities of Gauteng & not congested as its easy to come in & out of the city without being stuck in traffic.
I was there for tertiary admissions so i didn't get a chance to gallivant. But I've been to Pretoria more than ten times and really like the shopping malls around, and the fact that crime is still much better compared to other cities in Gauteng.
I found service in general to be much more efficient than compared to the Cape and staff everywhere very friendly, from till operating cashiers, to security to cleaning staff. I often hear complaints about atmosphere in Johannesburg but I for one was pleasantly surprised. Lawless taxis jumping red traffic lights, pushing in from forbidden lanes and forcing motorists off the road and having to slam on brakes was a concern though. But that unfortunately happens throughout RSA, not only in Gauteng.
Staying in Sandton, a suburb of Johannesburg, was great and a good place to start visiting Gauteng. Johannesburg - city is not what you would expect from the Capital from such a big beautiful country. Disappointing.
Centurion is actually the Southern region of Pretoria. It is a young, modern and clean city. The impressive Voortrekker monument as well as the Airforce museum is in Centurion. Both are "must visits" when visiting the province of Gauteng in which Centurion is.
Alberton suits the reason for our visit to Gauteng as it is very close to my son who lives there, hence our frequent visits. It is easy to move around especially if you are an out of towner. We actually have been coming to Alberton for the past 13 years and am quite familiar with the area.
As we are not from Gauteng we make the best of all the Halaal Restaurant's and great variety of malls for shopping. Too many cars,roads construction taking far too long to complete.
Everything food , service & comfort I loved everything about my stay at the hotel, the experience was amazing. I just went during level 4 of lockdown and that didn't have an impact on the service 5 star. The staff is welcoming, the food was amazing, room & views spectacular 😀👌🏼 I did a solo trip and would definitely go back with family & friends. Enjoyed the guided morning bush walk. Definitely recommend the hotel its a hidden gem in Gauteng i must say with nature & animal's surrounding you
The food, the scenery, the pool areas, the staff, the atmosphere, the room. I have went to few hotels and lodges around Gauteng and Limpopo but Kloofzicht surpasses all of them when it comes to the food, scenery and staff. The food was very tasty, from the buffet breakfast, lunch by the bistro, and dinner, everything is top class. The number of times that me and my wife kept on saying that this place is beautiful was countless.

The apartment had everything that you could need. It was comfortable and the location was perfect. We really enjoyed the restaurant on the property. It made it really convenient. The apartment was clean and well laid out. The host was very friendly and always willing to help. We will definitely stay here again when coming to Gauteng as the only thing better than the apartment was the price.

The location near an Uber stop and Gauteng train made it very easy to go wherever I needed. Many shops and restaurants nearby made it very convenient also. The apartment was spacious and well equipped.
Location was ideal with walking distance to Long Distance Bus station & Gauteng Express Train. Hotel staff helpful and informative.

The staff at The Blades are lovely, especially the boys from the restaurant. Very friendly with heartfelt smiles. Willing to go the extra mile. We were spoiled. The food is very good, too. The rooms are spacious (except for the bathroom in Room Nr. 5 which is very small). Nice surroundings with lots of birds.

So beautiful and romantic, just love the atmosphere. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. The food was amazing, Not to mention the friendly staff who made sure we lack nothing. The chalet's comfort is just indescribable. The Amadwala family truly went above and beyond our expectations, We will definitely be coming back.
