Expect some authentic "imperfections" (crooked floors), etc that's part of the charm. We stayed in a suite that was done up like the 1970's, pretty neat. The staff warned us the walls are thin and they were, you could hear folks outside like they were in your room almost LOL. They said there were ear plugs by the bed but we couldn't find them. but no big deal , slept fine

This hotel was wonderful! The night before I had tried to save some money and booked online a motel for $107. It was disgusting! So I decided to treat myself after that and found this great Springhill Suites on the river in Chattanooga. It was $90 more than the previous night and 1000% better! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable. The room was perfect, with the most comfortable pillows! If I ever visit Chattanooga again, I would definitely stay at this hotel.
Lovely hotel, really cool and modern, with many perks and quirks. You get a free drink on the house and coffee, tea and water are free and available all day. You pay for the parking but it's relative secure. Rooms are very cool, probably small by American's standards but for Europeans are absolutely fine. There is also a cafe from which you can buy breakfast in the morning. Very close to the Chattanooga Choo Choo and loads of cool dining options.
The rooms were a proper size, they were clean and had everything you need. The location is great, a lot of restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The pool was nice to cool down in after a day of strolling around Chattanooga. The bar and the diner next to the hotel were perfect for breakfast and a drink as wel. All staff members we met were extremely nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was fine. For the price I didn't expect anything fancy. It was clean and had everything we needed for a nights stay in Chattanooga. We walked to dinner from the hotel but I wouldn't have done this alone. Even though it's close to some great restaurants and bars there are a couple of not so safe looking blocks to get to the hotel.
Front desk staff was very friendly, welcoming, and gracious to our large group at check in and out. The kids were ecstatic that the hotel had a basketball for them to shoot some hoops (near the pool) for a few hours as a destressor before heading to a regional swim meet downtown Chattanooga that night.
We stayed in the historic tower - highly recommended. Huge room and bathroom - wish we were staying longer! Loved the history of the hotel and all the decor - really added to the holiday. Walking distance to Chattanooga Choo-Choo (some may say too far) and smart street with lovely restaurants.
This hotel is very clean and sells fresh. Located at Exit 1 in Chattanooga. Great halfway point for our drive to Florida. The staff is exceptional. The best value for the price. When I lay my head down to sleep, I love the fresh smell and cozy comfort.

Fantastic hotel with character, nice quiet area of Chattanooga - we were in the top floor, lovely room in the eaves with tasteful decor. Nice touch to have free coffee and soda, plus hanging around the communal areas is allowed, which is very pretty
We didn't know the hotel offered breakfast so we ate at the City Cafe located at the hotel and it was wonderful! Would definitely stay there again when visiting Chattanooga area.

Wonderful location within walking distance Main St, Market St, Station St, Chattanooga Choo Choo etc. Extremely close to Ruby Falls. The bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel. The shower was very relaxing as well! Friendly & accommodating staff. Lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas! Valet service was wonderful and friendly as well. We visited with the intention of exploring the area within walking distance BUT you could honestly visit The Chattanoogan Hotel and never have to leave the property with so many options on site!
