Wow, what a find! Tucked away in a lush banana plantation near Arusha, this eco-hostel stole my heart. My cozy barn cabin felt like a treehouse dream, complete with a porch swing and stunning Mount Meru views. But the real showstopper? The incredibly cheap eats and drinks! I feasted on delicious organic meals straight from the farm without breaking the bank. If you're after an authentic Tanzanian experience that's easy on the wallet, Banana Farm Eco Hostel is a must-visit. Trust me, your taste buds and your budget will thank you!

We stayed at the Karibu Heritage House for three nights (one night before our safari and two nights during our safari schedule) in June 2024. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Sifael who is a wonderful host and all the staff are very friendly. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The restaurant is nice and our evening meals were delicious. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use the swimming pool but if we had more time we would have done so. The hotel is perfect as a base to start or end a safari or to explore Arusha.

I really like the way I was welcome by Sabuni. They accomodate to your need and the place is really freindly. I would they really adapte to you. The location was perfect , next to the main road that goes to Arusha center in less yhan 2min. I really enjoyed the authentic Klub Africo where you can have drink in a very freindly spirit. The wifi was working perfectly. I would recomend this place for a short or long stay. Thank you to Meru Hostel to have made stay wonderful by accomodating to my need.

Staying at Mt Meru Hotel is like staying at a little resort in the middle of Arusha city. The garden surroundings are tantalising and the restaurants are fabulous. The breakfast is excellent with wide choice of bites. I wish they could offer Lattes for free at breakfast. No idea why they sell it separately. Latte is easy to make if you have a machine. There are taxis right outside the hotel and so no need to worry about transport into town Hence it is my choice of Hotel in Arusha

Sanna boutique hotel was amazing in that it is perfectly situated right down town Arusha and it has amazing views of Mt Meru. The staff are the heartbeat and best part of the experience there. They work so hard to ensure everyone feels comfortable and respected. Shout out to the manager Prince Fundi to the stars for making our stay even more colorful. Lastly the food is very tasty and seemed to be fresh and ‘home made’ we loved it. We will definitely be back.

This is a very very nice, very clean house in a nice green neighbourhood of Arusha. Ayuub and his sister Danielle are so kind and helpful, they make you feel at home. The house has the best couch in Tanzania we think :) The bed is very comfortable and the rooms are quiet. We hiked to lake Duluti, it was a really nice hike through the neighbourhood. We had diner at the lake with Ayuub and his friends, was such a good evening. Thank you Ayuub and Danielle!

Fantastic stay for two nights (start and finish of our safari) at Mrimba Palm Hotel. Joseph and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and provided us with whatever we needed, even a towel each to take on safari we forgot to bring them. Great service, rooms are lovely and with a great view of the mountains. Would absolutely recommend. Looking forward to seeing Joseph and crew next year when we travel back to Arusha in Tanzania.

Hotel location is the center of the Arusha town. Near to any place that a tourist need. All basic facilities and amenities also been provided. Any problem,just call and ask to reception, they will manage it soon. Internet is up down but the reception from beginning already tell us the tips to make your internet experience smooth. All hotel staffs also nice , especially Daniel. He even help us to exchange money with best rate.

A beautiful hostel that allows you to enjoy the tranquility of nature! Great service and an ideal location to enjoy all that Arusha has to offer. Multiple tour offerings that allow you to enjoy the area. The local diner is delicious and healthy, we never have tasted food before like this, Anthony and his sisters are amazing and they're there to help you for anything, we really recommend this place

The hotel is wonderful. It's far from the city center, but that's what we wanted since we wished to relax before our Kilimanjaro trek. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff is delightful and welcoming. If I ever go back to Arusha, I plan on staying there again. It's a beautiful oasis in a busy town. The food was delicious, especially breakfast.

We were warmly received by Ms Subira, and our housekeeper, Ms Agnes, made our rooms super clean and comfortable to say in. Generally, the staff at Kiteme are kind and helpful. Special thanks to Ms. Mary, who went above and beyond to make our stay and Arusha experience magical!! Wonderful staff, 👍 great service. One of our favorite place in Arusha, Tanzania. Very conformable place. We stayed here in total 4 nights by extending and extending our stay, as it was very nice place to stay. There is a spacious kitchen that you can cook if you wish. There are many small local shop around this place, we went to buy some veggies and meat to cook by ourselves

Hilary was so helpful. He helped us to organize our Safari. It was the best 2 days Safari. He was so helpful for all our requests. Everything was perfect 🤩 !(the staff is so helpful and nice, the rooms, the food, the location). I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to stay in Arusha. We will come back for sure.

I had a wonderful stay at the hostel. The swimming pool was a refreshing highlight, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The rooms were comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful, always going the extra mile to assist. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Arusha.

This is my favourite hotel in Arusha - the price is very reasonable and the rooms are clean, comfortable, the aircon always works and the rooms are quiet even though we are in the centre of Arusha. Staff are all so friendly and solve any problem. Breakfast is also one of the best ive had in Arusha

Charity Hotel provided outstanding value. I mainly needed a place to crash in Arusha before getting picked up for my safari, and the hotel was perfect for that purpose. There was a pleasant garden though no other amenities. Service and Wifi were acceptable, especially at the price point.

The hostel is great value! The room was comfortable and clean. The hostel is cozy and has a lot of areas to relax in. Awesome there is a restaurant on site. Staff were super kind! Bonus that there were cats there and beer was cheap! I’d def recommend if you’re staying in Arusha!

Great apartment. Great staff. It’s location in central Arusha won’t appeal to all. It’s busy, and you’re right in the middle of things at the bus station. But if you’re looking for a non-gated option at a good price and don’t mind the hustle and bustle, it’s great!

The Hotel staff was awesome. Clean and the food was so delicious. We even got an upgrade from a standard room to an executive one! Seven Skies made my stay in Arusha! Additionally, I got a complementary cake for my birthday! I totally had an awesome time.

The staff were excellent, great food (one of the best we had in all Tanzania) and the room is super nice. Additionally, you get a beautiful view from the room balcony on Mt Meru - priceless. Would recommend to anyone interested at staying around Arusha
