If you want to visit Amsra and the Black Sea region but are put off by the outdated, overpriced hotels along the coast - I highly recommend staying in Bartin and visiting from there (20 minutes drive). Kaf Konak is a gem of a hotel, with a beautiful garden and a restaurant with full bar (which can be difficult to find in the area). Rooms are on the small side but beautifully furnished and restored in line with the historic nature of the building. If I come to the area again, I hope to stay at Kaf Konak again!

- The location was great, 5 min away from the airport and about 10 min from the city, public transportation is very close and available.
The staffs, especially Isaaq and Ayman, they were very helpful and co-operative, very kind cheerful and gentle in dealing with everyone one. the property owners, Karim, his wife and father treated us like family and offered us a lot of help and free services, Thank you Karim kardash. I like the location it was great and wonderful.

Wonderful hotel on the water at the quiet end of town. Staff were excellent and obviously well trained. Breakfast was great. Our room was right on the sea front with a balcony. There are 6 of the rooms. Others are closer to the pool. Loved it all.

The staff were very helpful with smiling faces.As soon as we arrived we were given all the support to settle our selves in the rooms, directed carefully by the Hotel staff to all services and attractions around. Damal , Ibrahim and Murad were there for any request or support we have asked for. During the check out Sevgi have given us great details and directions on our next destination where she has even coordinated the reservation confirmation for us. many thanks for a great team in the hotel
