Newly opened in April 2009 after extensive renovations, this 4-star hotel, first opened in 1906, is only 200 metres from Lake Bled and in the immediate vicinity of the train station. Beautiful location. Quite, yet beautiful 20 minutes shoreline walk to Bled. One of the nicest restaurants in the area, with superb fine dining. Breakfast was equally as good. One of the nicest ever hotels I have stayed in. Very recommended

Surrounded by unspoiled nature, Hotel Bohinj is situated 100 metres from Bohinj Lake. It offers rooms with mountain view and few rooms on the top floor with lake view. We stayed in the Suite on the top floor with stunning views to the mountains and Lake Bohinj. It was spectacular! We had a glorious round bath with views to the mountains and a balcony to relax and drink champagne on. Brilliant hotel, great restaurant (some of the best food we ate in Slovenia), lovely staff and great location - I recommend 100 percent.

All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful (Maria was the only name we caught, one of many excellent employees). The reception was very welcoming and our room was spotless. View across a lovely landscaped park/woods. First class food. The spa was difficult to leave - such good facilities and atmosphere. The 4 season shower experience and snow room were awesome. Cannot praise this hotel high enough, thank you!!!

It's always the people who make the difference and the two who looked after us during our stay could not have been better. Warm and welcoming it was like staying with friends and yet there was always professionalism and attention to detail. Whilst our quite spacious 'small' room may not have had quite the style of the public areas it was nevertheless very comfortable. The team took a pride in offering food and drink of a high quality with some interesting and unusual offerings and yet it all felt comfortable and not at all pretentious. A great location and we were comfortable leaving the motorbike in their car park.

The Vila is a hidden gem in Slovenian Alps. The location is very convenient, one street away from the center of Bled and the lake, with parking available. We were warmly welcome on our arrival and the staff were very very helpful with everything we needed. The sauna and the hot tub is a nice treat after a day-long hike. The place is spotless clean and very stylish. I would definitely stay again.

fantastic location in the middle of the Slovenian alps, right next to a stream, perfect starting point for day hikes and biking adventures, reachable by public transport, bike hire on site, very comfy bed and small kitchen/dining space fully equipped. It’s clean and feels like home! Helena made us feel welcome and was always reachable for questions.
We loved everything about our stay here. It's a beautiful place, and the location is perfect. The owners are super nice and helpful! We couldn't have chosen better accommodation to enjoy the fresh air and mountains of the Slovenian Alps. We couldn't recommend it more.
Excellent location with a great garden, and deck where breakfast was served. The deck, and garden are very quaint, with a vast manicured lawn framed by the Slovenian Alps. The breakfast was very nicely served buffet style. The staff was very helpful.
Beautiful property just outside of the busy Bled area. my parents ended up spending one day relaxing on their balcony. The breakfast and dinner were good and it was nice to sit outside. the drinks were reasonably priced at the bar. The rooms had a cozy cabin feel and had AC.

The location with views of the lake is spectacular! We were upgraded to a suite, which was spacious, clean, comfortable and just perfect. I caught a glimpse of the standard room, which was also lovely. The staff were kind and informative, and the restaurant on site is an absolute must! We would come back just for a meal.

The hospitality of Ana and the owners was simply great. All were very kind and helpful. The chalet was extraordinary with an unique view towards the valley. Nothing was missing here. It is a beautiful place where you feel like in the middle of nature. The meal in the restaurant was realy good and all staf was nice and helpful. Nothing to complain about realy.
The most gorgeous view, welcoming hosts and delicious homemade food
This was the “glamping” experience we were looking for in the Bled area. Our kids loved the cabin, hot tub, and the whole place. The bathrooms located close by were also very clean (private per cabin), and we enjoyed our buffet breakfasts on the lovely patio. Communication was very clear and front desk staff were lovely and helpful. You are close to your neighbours but everyone was very quiet and respectful. The buildings and grounds were obviously all built with great care, and feature beautiful wood interiors and furniture. Have already recommended to friends heading to the Bled area.
The property so lovely, it’s magnificently built and designed. the furniture so convenient and elegant, and amazingly fitting with the view around. The owner and everybody around are so friendly and welcoming.
