Set in La Digue, 1.1 km from Anse La Reunion Beach, Mountain View Hotel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar. The property is located 2.7 km from La Digue Marina. Flavy Natalie and Fiona made our stay perfect. Very kind staff. We stayed there for 9 nights in October 2023. Very quiet hotel up on a hillside. They ordered bikes for us and we cycled around the island every where possible. Love this island. Totally different than Norway We had half board. Perfect for us When we go back, we will definitely stay in the same Hotel Eric and Jannie from 🇳🇴

Overlooking the Indian Ocean, Le Repaire features a small outdoor pool and elegant rooms. The view, cleanliness, and friendless of the stuff are all amazing. The Italian restaurant was the best thing i’ve ever eaten in Seychelles and it was a retreat after poor experience with food in Seychelles.

A stunning place in the middle of La Digua. Location was perfect! Also everything is easily accessible because of in-bike rental (fee, not that expensive, bikes were also in acceptable condition, but it is good to test them beforehand. Also a possibility to exchange the bike if you're not satisfied with one without any extra fees). About object itself - amazing location with a huge garden and a lot of stunning plants around, brilliant swimming pool with warm water 💦 and great drinks in the bar. Beautiful rooms and entire hotel facility - no issues with bugs. It was exceptionally clean everywhere! La Digue is truly an amazing place to visit and experience. If you like nature and beaches you will find plenty to do on this island. It was by far my favorite island out of the three in seychelles i have visited. I reccomend at staying least 5 days on the islanf if you want to explore it. The locals are very friendly. The food is amazing. There is always a new place to explore for those who love adventure.
Petite anse took my breath away, as well as the union State Farm with its anse source d'argent and the giant turtles. I only spent 2 full days in la digue but it definitely deserves more time. It's very easy to get around by walk or by bike.
La Digue has one pace of life....and that is ‘slow’ An amazing place to chill and relax and spend a couple of days to experince life there and to visit the stunning Source d’Argent beach..... Bike hire is the usual form of transport from the ferry. You are more likely to get run over by a bike than anything else on the roads..Some hotels have people carriers, lorries, or golf buggies to transport you from the ferry....check it out before you arrive. It can be very hot and humid there so you don’t want to drag suitcases along the road! Was amazed to see how many vehicles were electric..... It is well worth a visit to the working Union Estate where you can see Vanilla and Cinnamon plants growing, giant tortoises, plenty of birds, palms etc.....More to the point it provides accesss to the famous Source d’Argent beach with its famous boulders......the crystal clear turquoise waters and pristine sand are truly breathtaking, and it is easy to spot fish - the size of a large dinner plate -swimming in the shallow around without the need if a mask or snorkel! There is a casual beach restaurant which serves a range of local dishes - food great....Fish and chips, curries, salads....all well cooked and tasty ! Fresh lime juice was good as were the local Seybree beers....so welcome in the hot and humid climate.....
Place which great charm. Accomodations run by locals, no big hotels such as in Mahe. However, Prices of local accomodations and restaurants are quite expensive. Orher resorts in other comparable places in the world are much cheaper! Holidays in Seychelles is expensive! Not enough restaurants in La Digue. Too many trucks and taxis for an Island which was for bikes only a few years back.
La Digue is an exquisitely pretty island with beautiful forest and many beautiful beaches so close together. The wildlife is equally exciting. There are enough facilities to be comfortable but still feel independent. However the island is quite scruffy in places due to human activity and that sad. The service in the islands limited bars/restaurants is mixed at best. It is also sometimes very expensive indeed however this should not be a surprise. We liked La Reprise for dinner, though more expensive the food quality was easily the best. We did not find a 'bad' meal but some were disappointing for the price. Cycling is easily the best to get around. DO NOT rent directly from a person on the pier. Though it might sound good to get the help moving the bags around they will rarely honour the promise after payment :)
I would not recommend la digue to anyone , because it is fantastic, calm , easy , lovely , chilly, just dont tell this secret !
La Digue, being the Seychelles 3rd largest island, is surprisingly easy to get around on foot or by bike. Since the best beaches (in my opinion) are at the east coast and most accomodation is on the west coast at at the northern tip of the island, physical activity is a must, which is always a great thing. And the walk throught the jungle is an experience in itself. And if you have what it takes, it is definitely worth trying to surf at the grand anse beach (which is actually great for swimming at this time of the year, no matter what others say, but be advised if you are in less than adequate physical condition, currents are sometimes strong). Will definitely visit again.
La Digue is just something exceptionally special. We loved riding bikes, going on hikes and finding the remote beaches.
LA Digue is amazing island with beutiful beaches and views. In the island you can to meet couple of turtles on a walk throught the island. Ride a bike is the best way how you can to get everywhere and we can stop anywhere. La Digue is small island and with using bike you pass all for one day with stops to views or swimming. A little bit did not like me charget fee to Anse source d agent, because there are trapped turtles in a dirty cage and the park nothing contain so beautiful neither interesting, to we pay for it. Anse source d agent is without water until 2 p.a. and them is water dirrty. Spent money. Seychelle people ride a bike with reproducer which playing too loudly also during the night. General La digue is very beutiful place with amazing beaches, white sands and turquoise sea, wild turtles and exotic nature.
I cannot actually say much about the L’Union Estate. It is nice, but the best thing about is the Anse Source d’Argent beach the park is located next to. The most incredibly beach on Seychelles, and on the best beaches on the world, though, is the ‘secret’ Anse Marron. See for more ‘Mahe, La Digue and Praslin in August in 13 days’ on http://www.seychellen-infos.de/seyforum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9282
La Digue
We had a great stay. Nancy welcomed us at arrival and showed the apartment to us. The location was great (just 5 mins from the ferry) and just around the corner of the best bakery (famous bakery) in Seychelles. It it very closed to the main street, but still very quiet. The apartment was cozy, clean and tiny and had everything we needed. There was also a place to leave and lock our bikes. La Digue is a pretty and beautiful small island and a must-see when you are in Seychelles.
La Digue
If you are into nature, really good local food, nice staff and bicycle riding this is your place. If you are into resort luxury, spa or any other commodities, please choose another because you ll be disapppointed. This lodge exceeded my expectations in terms of confort and location and if i return to la digue will be definitely on this place. Really nice and carefull staff and really good local food in breakfast and dinner.
La Digue
Best accommodations in Seychelles so far and we’ve been to 5 star hotels. The rooms are beautiful! Spacious and well equipped. The garden surrounding the rooms is breathtaking and the location is great - couple of minutes walk from the ferry terminal and next to restaurants, takeaways and mini markets. Above all - fantastic hospitality by Costas, his family and the crew. if you’re in La Digue - this is the place for you!
We loved our stay at Patatran Village Hotel! Our room overlooked the ocean, and we were able to spot dolphins passing by. The food was absolutely delicious (we had breakfast and dinner) and the beach amazing, perfect for the last dip of the day after exploring La Digue. The staff was really helpful, kind and attentive. We also enjoyed creole music and dancing with live music on one of the evenings.
La Digue
Little piece of heaven in La Digue. Beautiful place, tastefully decorated, cosy and with everything you need. Location in good, 5m by bike to the main road and ferry, very near to Ray & Josh Takeway, the place were we had the best food in Seychelles. We've rented the bikes here and as far as we could tell, they were better than average. Our hosts Elluna and Denise were great!
well-equipped kitchen available to cook, nice staff, clean rooms that were cleaned daily, good sized bathroom, nice terrace to sit outside (it's covered so can sit outside even when it's raining), bikes available to rent through the hotel at the same price as in other places throughout the island, and very close to the best takeaway on La Digue (Rey and Josh's)
La Digue
Pension Hibiscus is a little gem in La Digue Island. The place is very close to the most famous beach in Seychelles. Jennita will make you feel at home. This place is wonderful, and the price is very affordable. I will definitely book again with Hibiscus next time. Jennita even took the time to send a driver to pick me up from the boat station. This is a 120% great place.
La Digue
It’s a beautiful property. La Digue is a very small island, you can rent bike and roam around. There is a bike rental available at the entrance of the hotel and a supermarket nearby. All the attractions are just mins away from this hotel. Didn’t try the food, but stay and ambience was amazing. Bit pricey, but then again in Seychelles everything is pricey 😅
La Digue
To be honest we didn’t expect much, we were more excited about the island in general, since everybody said La Digue is the most beautiful island of Seychelles. But what a surprise 🤩 villa is amazing, starting from handmade details to exceptional cleanliness. Such a beautiful garden, with golden fish and cute swimming pool. We were impressed. 10 out of 10.
This hotel is situated in a great location in La Digue. Easy to bicycle to beautiful beaches or easily walk to the town center. The view from the restaurant and pool is amazing. All the staff were friendly and informative, from the owners themselves, to Ketty at reception, and the restaurant staff! They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
The hotel is beautiful and fits in well with the natural surroundings. La Digue is a small island, so the location isn’t as big important, but the hotel is close to the “town” yet very quiet. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Yes, it is expensive, but the Seychelles are remote and everything is expensive.
La Digue
Wow! Choose Coral Apartments! Owner and husband cooked amazing creole dinner for us. Breakfast was fabulous. Service very good , big modern room and the location was perfect. Our BEST stay in the Seychelles. Bike rental easy, location from port walking distance. Thank you for making our La Digue stay spectacular.
La Digue
Owner of the place, Frank is very nice guy. Location of the property is amazing and near one of the best beaches on La Digue, so you wont need a bike. It is also close to shops and all amenities. There is a lot of vegetation surrounding the apartment which makes it really nice. WiFi also worked very good.
La Digue
Amazing quest house with incredible cozy garden on the territory. Nadine, manager at reception - her professionalizm and help beyond expectations. Room is quite big with equipped kitchen. Pool is nice. Strongly recomended for booking - one of best hotels in La Digue
La Digue
Lovely apartment in close proximity to Anse Source D‘Argent and not far from the pier. Clean and comfortable with lovely staff. They rent out bicycles to explore beautiful La Digue at your own pace and can do pier transfers in an electric vehicle.
La Digue
Very new cosy apartment, perfectly equipped with a terrace in front of the pool where you can relax and eat. The staff was very nice and helped us with everything we needed. Perfect for everyone who wants to enjoy some peaceful days in La Digue.
La Digue
Hotel is located 3 minutes walking from Anse Severe and it's maybe 7 minutes to the closest cafes and minimarkets. They serve free breakfast that's also important on La Digue. Staff was friendly and helpful, special thanks to Kami
La Digue
Very friendly and helpful staff, good location relative to the places you want to visit (everything is close by given the small size of La Digue). Good breakfast. Small shop at just a few minutes walk, take-away at a few minutes by bike.
La Digue
First and foremost, Ruby, who runs the Hostellerie is a gem! always friendly, helpful and in a good mood! Well located in La Passe, close to take aways, supermarkets and restaurants, a perfect location to start trips on La Digue.
La Digue
This was our second stay at Ocean L’union. We love the area and La Digue. The hostess Penny is very welcoming and helps with every regard. The apartment is very clean and furnished with a very nice eye for detail. We will be back!
