Located in the center of Majdanpek, Golden Inn Hotel is surrounded by greenery. It features a lush garden with barbecue facilities and a children’s playground. Hotel may look a little old but the staff more than makes up for it with their warm hospitality and helpfulness. The room was clean and spacious, and the food was delicious and well-presented. We especially want to thank Tanja at the front desk for making sure our stay was enjoyable!

Andrea, the host is lovely and helped us with everything we needed even booking a boat trip for us and providing the thirsty new arrivals with drinks and friendly conversation. I can recommend this place enough, whether you're on a bike or not it really is a wonderful place to stay.

The host welcomed us cordially with a glass of homemade brandy - rakija. The apartment was sparkling clean, spacious, well-organized, stocked with coffee and basic ingredients, and it had free wifi. The location is fantastic: the house is on a little hill overlooking the Danube, and there are no neighbors in sight. There is also a super nice grilling area, so if you stay longer than a day or two, be sure to ask the host about using it!
