This hotel is 200 metres from the shopping area of Velas and 1 km from the harbour. It features a terrace overlooking the garden, the outdoor pool, and the Atlantic Ocean. Very clean, nice lloking. Friendly and helpful workers. Good breakfast. They let us checkin earlier, helped with laundry, ordered a taxi and assisted with other requests

Wonderful little gem of a hotel on Sao Jorge. This remodeled historic property maintains the quaint feel of life in the centuries past. The staff is very friendly and extremely accommodating if there is anything you need or any questions you may have. The breakfast is an amazing traditional breakfast and we never left hungry. This hotel hasn't been around long, but they are doing such a great job I think they will be around a long time. Beautiful property too with a pool, garden, and little farm where they raise chickens for the eggs you eat at breakfast. This is definitely where we will stay again next time we come to Sao Jorge! Quinta da Magnólia AR is situated in Urzelina and has a private pool and pool views. There is a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay. The Quinta has the perfect location, right in the center of the island. It has a wonderful view over Pico and is very well refurbished. The staff is lovely and very helpful.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Urzelina, Casa d'Avó Guesthouse and Apartment is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. I was kindly surprised from this accommodation. Everything was perfect I felt like home. I have to appreciate the kind personal, clear room, very nice terrace, beautiful view and the homemade cookies :). A lot of owners could inspire how to manage their businesses.
