Perfect and quiet place with restaurant, bar and pool. They have great coffee, negroni and cheese sandwich with truffle. The accommodation is beautiful, but you have to remember that access to the Surfing Temple is more difficult, especially when it rains - I'm just describing the reality.

It's located in a small barangay called Pacifico not too far from the airport, but fairly far from the island's main city of General Luna. The two beach cottages are located right on the beach, where you can take surfing lessons.

My wife and I decided to explore the island by scooter shortly after arriving in Siargao; we intended to only stay a couple of nights and then return to General Luna, but we ended up extending and staying at DaRosa Del Mar for the remainder of our vacation. The place is wonderful. The bungalows are fitted out to a very high quality, with comfy beds and spacious modern bathrooms. The grounds are beautiful with colourful flowers/orchids, coconut trees, and nice areas to relax. The beach is the best we found throughout our entire time in Siargao; lovely sand, and great for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking (available for guests to use). The restaurant serves a variety of delicious food, served by attentive and friendly staff, and is popular with Siargao residents who travel just for the great food and dining atmosphere, even if not staying at the resort. The resort is a great base for exploring Siargao island's attractions, including Sugba Lagoon, Magpopongko Rock Pools, and Pacifico Beach, which we visited on our rented scooter. Dave and Rose have created a wonderful place, and they are lovely people and great hosts. I understand that the resort took some damage from the typhoon that hit in December 2021 shortly after we left, which is very sad given all the hard work that Dave and Rose have put in to create the resort. However, I also understand that they intend to fix it all up and re-open as soon as possible, so I would highly recommend everyone explore the island (beyond General Luna), and spend some time at Dave and Rose's place.

The room was very clean, organized, good space. The location was perfect! It’s just 2 minutes walking from the Main Street. Erwen, the guy in charge, was a super host! He arranged tours for us, and gave us recommendations, and he was always very nice and helpful.
