Owner was very responsive and kind in regards to our early arrival and late check out. Apartment is as described, felt more spacious than the photos suggest. Well equipped with good facilities. Room fans provided were strong and quiet. Location is excellent, between the centres of Barranco (10 minute walk) and Miraflores, on the bus route to central Lima. Loads of restaurants nearby. The rooftop pool area is great for lounging, a laundry room is in the basement. Reception staff were always welcoming. We loved our stay here.

Hotel situated really close to the center, the personnel was really helpful we had a booking to come back to when we returned to Lima but we canceled after having breakfast. The problem was that the photos were nowhere near the truth. They show a buffet but there is no such thing. There is a small place with a kitchen adjacent to the reception where you have breakfast,which is a guy asking you if you want eggs giving you a bun and some jam. It's ok to have a basic breakfast but it's not ok to mislead clients.

Hotel offers flexible check in / check out. We had a nice clean spacious room at 9th floor. Of particular notice is the rooftop bar and swimming pool! The views are breathtaking! We have also enjoyed massage and sauna in the hotel. Cannot complain for anything as we did not have any unpleasant situations. Peru is a great country and I recommend all to visit Peru and make sure to make a stop over in Lima! We have wondered through the city until very late and have not experienced anything bad.

The most amazing place i stayed in Peru. The old building is well maintained and all modern conveniences are available (hot water, wifi, etc) . I love all the artwork that is displayed all over the facility, it gives you that sense of a bygone era and the view /sound of the ocean is just so relaxing. I will say that if ever I will be in Lima again, I will stay here again and the Staff are so helpful. Fun Fact, this place is home of Peru's most famous sculptor Victor Delfin.

The hostel has a lot of character and it's in a great location in Barranco. My room was huge too and was a treat for my last 2 nights in Peru. Good bar area and free walking tours also leave from the hostel. I would definitely recommend. Trying to decide on a hostel in Lima felt like a minefield, but you won't be disappointed staying here. Lots of lovely streets to walk around and cafés etc. Ubers are really cheap to Miraflores too. Reception staff were very helpful.

The services from the hotel is outstanding. Brandy picked us up from the airport and took us back very early the next day at 4 AM with the warmest welcome. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the airport. The surrounding area seems safe to me with lots of restaurants and shops. Hotel is very clean and comfortable with a nice terrace and a kitchen. I would recommend Matty House to anyone who needs to stay near the Lima Airport.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lima Boutique Hotel. The staff was brilliant and extremely helpful. Our room was clean, stylish and super comfortable. We loved all the light and simultaneously the privacy. The little terrace in the back was the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious breakfast every morning - especially the pancakes, sourdough toasts and granola bowls were top notch. If Lima was closer, we would come back in no time.

Had an amazing stay. The hotel was very cozy, colorful, clean, and in a great location, with the ocean just a walk away. The breakfast was excellent, with freshly squeezed juice or coffee. Renzo and Janet were very welcoming, personable, and always available to answer any questions/concerns. If we ever come back to Lima we will definitely stay at La Casona Azul. - Canada

The place was not clean. The towels smell like food and they were not even fold. They were messy and smelly. when they person gave it to me. Terribel exprience for my first time in Lima, Peru. Also, I was confused when I looked it up later on google maps said Temproraly closed? That could explioan the deprorable conditions that place was.

This family hostel was my home for three weeks in Lima. You will be hosted by kind and funny travellers. The hostel lays at the edge of Barranco and Miraflores so it's not far to any of both centers. The street is very quite which will ensure you a good night sleep!

It's such a beautifully renovated old house! Exquisit interior, very charming style. Excellently located in Barranco. Really nice owners & friendly staff. Easy & independant self check-in. Whenever we travel to Peru/Lima again, we'll be back!

The best location in Miraflores,very posh very safe part of Lima.Located opposite very popular Larkomar, full of restaurants, bars,ships and very well supermarket Wong. The apartment is on 14 th floor with panoramic view over the ocean,and Marriotts Hotels!

Great value for money and brilliant location, exactly as the pictures. The best place we stayed in Peru - great for a group of 4. Clean, modern with all the facilities. We used the pool on the roof terrace - which has a great view over Lima.

I travelled Peru and started in Lima, staying here. I have to say it was the best place we stayed in Peru! Very clean, very comfy, the neighborhood felt very safe! Staff very friendly and open to answer questions!

I love its care for details, the architecture and the design items all around. I believe hotels are the image of their country and their city and Hotel Antigua painted to me a wonderful image of Lima.

Very nice old building with lof of cheerful People, Alex was so helpful and he answered all questions about my trip with pleasure. If i go to Lima again I'll choose 1900 Hostel as a first option.

Location perfect for 2 nights in Lima, could explore old city on foot after our long distance flight. Hotel staff helpful, arranged airport pick up and return. Friendly low key atmosphere.

The hotel is in a good location, on one of the main avenues of Lima (Javier Prado). The price is OK for what they offer.
