Stoneridge Estate offers 5 star luxury bed and breakfast accommodations and fine dining in a tranquil setting, 15 minutes’ drive from the heart of Queenstown. Our stay at Stoneridge was little short of ideal! The grounds were simply stunning - you take a steep drive up to the resort, passing by vineyards and rose bushes. The buildings have a historic stone and wrought-iron look and truly feel like they have been there for centuries. Walk around the grounds and you might also see the very cute, peaceful chapel. The rooms were, again, stunning, with beautiful views over Lake Hayes. They were spacious and thoughtfully furnished, including the bathrooms which had his and hers sinks. On checking in, we were greeted by their very friendly staff who offered us two glasses of rose and a lovely cheese board. In short, we loved it here - it felt like pure luxury!

Being 5-10 minutes' walk from the center of Queenstown, it is just far away enough from the hustle and bustle of the shops and restaurants to be very quite and private. Peppers has always been a fovorite of ours since the Apartments are comfortable, self contained and have a lovely view of Lake Wakatipu. On this occasion I made a mistake in the booking and we ended up in a hotel room - nothing wrong with the hotel room but wasn'e 'our usual'. The reception staff went out of their way to work out a solution that resulted in us ending up in an apartment with all the attributes that we cherish. The reception went above and beyond!
Great view of Lake Wakatipu. Free parking on site and a close walk to the Queenstown town centre. The room was spacious and the beds were some of comfiest beds my wife and I have ever slept on in a hotel. Daily room service was also great. Other helpful things included the spacious lounge for guests on the bottom floor plus laundry/dryer (coin operated) facilities on site. There's also a bus stop handily in front of the hotel.

This gorgeous apartment had the most amazing unobstructed views over Lake Wakatipu from the deck!! It's a very comfortable but somewhat small place with all the expected amenities. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great. Parking was just outside the door of the apartment. It is a couple of miles out of town so is very peaceful and away from the business of Queenstown, yet easy to get into town in a few minutes.

The view. Comfortable apartment with an amazing view over Lake Wakatipu. Think we may have had the best apartment for the view No 11. Could walk into town along the water in about 30 mins and it was a very scenic stroll.
We had a lovely lake view room with vistas over both Lake Wakatipu and the southern part of Queenstown. The room was comfortable and quiet and met all our needs for a two night stay.

Before even the seeing the room, during check in I mentioned in passing I need to figure out a pharmacy or something for my tooth as I was having dental issues, and the receptionist without any prompt wrote down names, phone numbers and addresses of 3 dentist to help me. We were upgraded to a suite which was massive. Only down side we didn’t have time to check out the hot tub but we had a view of it and it looked very nice.
Big spacious rooms, loads of space to move about in the common areas and everything was well maintained and clean. Great cooking facilities, quiet, a block from the town centre and amazing, friendly and helpful staff.

Everything was amazing, the room was spectacular with lake view. The food was great and the staff very kind and understanding (we had an hyperactive toddler with us). Everything looked very cosy, we felt at home. We hope to come back this year!
Comfy bed in a well heated cabin. The toilet and shower areas were clean (and heated!!), this really helped the stay to be enjoyable. Free shuttles to and from Queenstown were great (check timetable and prebook).
