The accommodation was really very large, beautifully and comfortably furnished and absolutely clean. From the lodge you can walk in some minutes to the beautiful beach and also have a good starting point for excursions to the Black River Gorges National Park. And in addition, I have never had such a nice host in any other accommodation in Mauritius as in the Aurelia Lodge. Jacqueline, the hostess, spoiled me with excellent food and was a very friendly and attentive host in every way. I can highly recommend the Aurelia Lodge.

We absolutely loved this resort! Three massive swimming pools to select from, two restaurants, a burger truck and ice cream parlour. The rooms were very spacious, with easy access to the beach. The staff was very friendly and very quick to respond to our requests. The resort has plenty of activities.

The location is just amazing perfect. All the people are very friendly, the Butler Amal is a pearl and the good ghost of the house. The food is perfect, their is nothing to complain about.

Every single staff had a smile on and a hello ready for us. Very accommodating and friendly staff. They were very flexible with our checkout time, allowing us to enjoy their facilities a bit longer. Breakfast was really good. So much different stuff and always restocking. The room was spacious and we had an amazing view of the turquoise ocean. Free water everywhere and new towels everyday.

Our stay at this lodge was nothing short of a fairy tale come to life. We had an absolutely enchanting experience here during our honeymoon! The villas were beyond excellent – spacious, elegantly designed, and with all the amenities one could wish for. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like family, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. After a disappointing experience at another accommodation in the north, we decided to return to this lodge for a few additional nights. And we're so glad we did! The staff welcomed us back with open arms and even upgraded us to another villa at the same price as our initial one. Their generosity and commitment to guest satisfaction truly set them apart. We also want to give a special shoutout to Allen, the cab driver recommended by the lodge. His insights and recommendations transformed each trip around the island into a personalized adventure. A really lovely villa. Beautiful garden straight onto the beach. Great location for exploring the island. Stephanie and Gyan looked after us very well during our stay, with breakfasts and delicious meals. We would definitely recommend for a quiet relaxing holiday.

The house is recently renovated and very clean, with an amazing view from each floor, particularly the terrace. The host was very welcoming, always easy to reach, and provided great assistance throughout my stay. In terms of kite rental, the equipment availability, range, and quality was great. When windy, we'd go kiting in different spots, allowing us to discover more fun new places. As a solo traveler, this was my first experience of its kind, and I couldn't be happier with my choice of Surf House. I met some wonderful people, making me feel at home during my stay. The support I received was beyond my expectations, leading me to extend my stay longer than initially planned. Surf House was surely the best choice for my trip. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Surf House. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a friendly and adventurous environment!

Fantastic place with great staff & as everyone says the access to the wonderful Beach club was great after travelling round the island .. bit of luxury for a few days before we went home
