Moksha at Kitulgala - Rainforest Boutique Hotel features free WiFi throughout the property and views of pool in Kitulgala. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. This is just the best hotel if you're looking to relax and enjoy great meals, have a drink at the pool, and enjoy the jungle. Exceptional owners with wonderful staff. This place felt like home and I loved being here. I came for 1 night and stayed for 4 more. I wish I could have stayed longer. I did one excursion a day, which the hotel arranged - rafting, abseiling, waterfalls. Going through the hotel is cheaper and less stressful than arranging through Viator. All were so much fun. The owners arranged for an outdoor fire before dinner when the weather permitted which was so nice. The Sri Lankan food is incredible, don't bother with the Western option.

Old Bridge Riverside Hotel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and water sports facilities in Kitulgala. A new hotel, runned by a family who is very helpfull. Rooms are good and there is a shared balcony with splendid views, You can walk freely around Bibili Oya, the river next to the hotel . Food is at average level.

Situated in Pinnawala, 32 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, The Grand Walawwa features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The hotel is a great escape from a busy city. We love the colonial architecture and its comfort. The staff was nice, particularly the restaurant staff who took extra care of our meals. Mr. Brian was an amazing person who listened to our meal requests.

Situated in Kegalle, 32 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, Rosyth Estate House features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. We had a brilliant 3 days at Roysth Estate! It was the last leg on our 2 week trip with out 18 month old around Sri Lanka and certainly the highlight! So many thoughtful details such as a baby monitor set up in our room and placing us close to the action so we could allow Arthur to nap whilst we were by the pool! The food was insanely good and the tea factory tour was fascinating! The staff were all so accommodating and delightful with out son. He was so well looked after and became a huge fan of hoppers and roti! Neil and Farzana were fabulous hosts and made you feel at home instantly- when we arrived it felt more like arriving to a family party than a hotel! The rooms were lovely and the whole hotel has been decorated in such a thoughtful and tasteful manner. The spa was also brilliant- the complimentary foot massage on arrival was very welcome after a long drive! Would highly recommend to anyone, especially as its only just over 2 hours from the airport so makes an ideal place to get over jetlag or top off a trip!

Situated in dense rainforest of Kitulgala, Palmstone Retreat offers the benefits of an outdoor swimming pool, a waterfall and a spectacular view of nature. Very wonderful experience at the top of the mountain in the middle of the jangle and kind staff. Special thanks for Mohammed Anfas and restaurant cheif Siraganam.

Located right opposite Ma-Oya River, guests at Hotel Elephant Park "Grand Royal Pinnalanda" can watch elephants from their rooms. It has a restaurant and offers room service. Amazing view and plenty of time to see and feed elephants- can pay extra to bathe them- it’s all in affiliation with the elephant orphanage down the road- bring all the elephants down every morning for a swim in the river.

Set in Pinnawala, 34 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, Elepath Lodge- Pinnawala offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Location excellent and staff were lovely.

Located in Pinnawala, Cafe Pinnalanda features an outdoor swimming pool located at a 100 metre distance away. The room was quite spacious, very clean and well equiped. Also the bathroom looks pretty new. You can enjoy some fresh air at the balcony. The location is perfect and just across Elephant Orphenage.

Pinnalanda Hotel offers free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the property. Surrounded by lush greenery, the hotel is a 1-hour drive from the Kandy. The views are amazing and the place vibes is unique to wake up and see the elephants bathing. the Staff were very helpful and lovely. Fahim was really kind to make sure that I have a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and there were many varieties. I’m not used to eat fish and curry in the morning but I really liked it.
