Great base for visiting Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle, located in very natural and peaceful environment - close to the wild jungle (you can meet wild elephants 🐘) Room was really cosy, spacious and clean. Similary bathroom. The hosts are really warm and friendly family - cooking awesome food, helping with planning activities, advising, transporting by tuk tuk and waiting during sightseeing or sometimes accompanying and telling some stories. Definitly worth a visit or return ✌🏼

My friend Aura recommended this hotel to me and I can only say that, after traveling around the island for almost a month, this has undoubtedly been the best by far. Its location in contact with wildlife but close to all the tourist attractions of the Cultural Triangle is simply perfect. The food they offer is the most delicious we have tried. What a wonderfully happy place to come back to after a hectic day of exploration in Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle. My room was large, spotless, and super comfy. Together with the fantastic spread at breakfast and the chilled out common areas with live music, my stay in Habarana Village by Cinnamon was easily one of the bestest during my 21-day road trip through the island.

Amazing oasis in the jungle with exceptional 5 star service Wanda and Leo make you feel at home.The pool is so relaxing after a day out exploring the cultural triangle which the hotel is ideally placed for. There is lots of wildlife around which we love, especially the chipmunks. Do not hesitate to book, we didn't want to leave.

Randholee Resort & Spa is a hidden gem that impressed me with its top-notch service and breathtaking surroundings. The check-in process was not only speedy but also wonderfully traditional, with a warm Sri Lankan-style oil lamp welcome and a refreshing herbal drink. The front office team was amiable, making us feel right at home. Upon entering our room, I was treated to a mesmerizing view of the majestic mountain range. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom is enormous and impeccably clean. The restaurant, overlooking the inviting swimming pool, offered a peaceful and relaxing ambience, and the meals were delicious. The infinity pool's view is awe-inspiring, and the Aloe Ayurvedic spa provides a truly professional and rejuvenating experience. For those seeking extra activities, the resort offers a well-equipped gym and badminton, squash, and table tennis facilities. One visit is just not enough to fully appreciate the beauty and hospitality of Randholee Resort. I wholeheartedly recommend it for a memorable family outing.

The hotel Heritage in Anuradhapura was located in a very calm and serine environment facing the lake. The hotel premises was well maintained. The friendly service rendered by the hotel staff was beyond our expectations. Our room was clean tidy and spacious. Foods were very fresh and delicious. Mr.Hemantha, the FMB manager welcomed us to the restaurant in a great manner. The way he handled the restaurant staff in order to provide an effective service to the guests was admirable. The CEO, Mr.Sumith Wijesinghe was very friendly and supportive. We witnessed how he personally paid attention to guests by going round tables during meal times and speaking to them very cheerfully. Music at the lake side dinner was amazing. Highly appreciate the efficient service rendered by the hotel under the guidance and supervision of Mr.Wijesinghe. Highly recommend the Hotel Heritage. Hope to stay there again in our next visit to Anuradhapura.

Fantastic view from a room. You can sit at the balcony and listen to a sound of a nature. Very friendly and helpful staff. Big variety of food on a breakfast. Great infinity pool. Exceptional architecture of a hotel.

Celebrating our Wedding Anniversary at the Queen's Hotel in early October sounds like a wonderful choice. A tasty treat that's also good value for your money is always a delightful surprise. It is compatible price with the market. The thoughtful suggestion of offering Kiribath (milk rice) to the Dalada Maligawa in the morning is a beautiful and culturally significant way to start the day. It's an opportunity to partake in a local tradition and offer our respects at this sacred site. They provided Kiribath for offering to our request. We did it.

The room and the food were great and tasty. They have also offered a free stay for teenage youth in parent's room.

We spent our honeymoon from 28th to 31st January at Citadel and it was one of the best experiences of our lives. We were given a great room facing mahaweli river. Waking up to that view is something we can't put into words. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The Buffet had a lot of food varieties and they were all delicious. And the dining area had a beautiful view to give the best dining experience. The staff always checked up on us to make sure that everything was ok. We even went on a boat ride along the mahaweli river and it was something that we will always cherish.

We had a truly amazing time at Kalundewa Retreat. The location is just so serene and magical, especially around sunrise &-set when the birds are all singing. Right in the middle between lakes and paddy fields, it's the ideal place for people who love nature and want to disconnect for a bit. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Very responsive to questions and requests. We took the half board option (breakfast and dinner), and we were honestly impressed by both the quality and the quantity of the food. The food all tasted great and was always plated so delicately and beautifully. They delivered dinner/breakfast to the room on request, which was a nice touch. More local flavors on the menu would have been appreciated, though. Minibar - and other food/drink prices were all very reasonable (eg; 1.5 USD for a 500 ml soda) Room/bungalow was tastefully designed, with powerful A/C. Wifi was stable enough to stream shows on eg; Netflix. If you book one of the over water villas, I'd recommend getting up early for sunrise to enjoy the spectacular show nature will be putting on. A walk around the massive grounds at sunset is also highly recommended. Even though there is enough stuff to see and do in Dambulla, we only left the premises for a short 2 hr visit to the Cave temple and Golden Bhudda. We were just enjoying our time at the resort too much.
