We loved our stay at Lucky Bay - so much so we extended for a couple more nights. Perfect location for the beach and restaurants. Mohammed is a wonderful, genuine, host who goes above and beyond to ensure you are happy and check if you need anything. He kindly brought us homemade cake each day, arranged surf lessons, changed money etc - nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend Lucky Bay if you come to Arugam Bay.

I had a very nice stay at the Garden Beach Hotel. The rooms are good value for money, the breakfast is good (I usually had the avocado toast with fried egg) and the owner is super nice (he even helped me organize a night-bus reservation to Colombo and let me shower at the accommodation before getting on the bus).

Fins Arugambay has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Arugam Bay. Among the facilities at this property are room service and a 24-hour front desk, along with free WiFi throughout the property.... I ended up extending my stay for another week and had the best time at fins. The location is perfect, both beach and main road are just a stroll away. Nevertheless you get a good rest at night as there is no outside noise. The staff is wonderful. They were always caring and helpful and even helped me book my night bus to Colombo. I recommend the dorms if you are more of a social person, they are clean, quite spacious with a nice shared bathroom.

Stayed here with my wife for 8 days. The best with Sea LA Vie is the hosts, they made us feel very welcome, they are humble and very helpful. We stayed at other places in the area and didn't always feel welcome and didn't receive the same service. It is very close to everything, but are not in a noicy area.
