We really enjoyed our stay and kayak tour with Sorya Guesthouse. The rooms were clean. The bed was firm and water pressure was great. The kayak tour was good with an unexpected stop at Watermelon Island, and our morning tea included the local sticky rice in bamboo specialty. What really sets the guesthouse apart are the people. Truly a community feel with a diverse group gathered together to celebrate NYE. That ability to bring people together is quite unique. After staying around the world, I am not sure I have experienced another place quite like it. Plus there is a nice sense of playfulness with the travel theme.

The rooms as all ok. Clean, and a/c working well. The price is amazing value. They also sell food and drinks. Scooter hire available. A good position to explore the area. The family make you feel so welcome, and can arrange trips and onward travel. Would recommend

The best homestay we had in all Cambodia. The owner is very helpful, generous and kind. We enjoyed the countryside, the kids around, learning about the culture, the cute rooms and the good dinner he made for us.

Located 200 metres from public bus station, Silver Dolphin Guesthouse & Restaurant features accommodations with views of Mekong River and the on-site restaurant on the rooftop. I returned after my first stay. This really is a proper traditional nice hostel. There’s life in the dorm, it’s all run by a family with children that run around, tours can be booked here. The bed was cosy and the view from the balcony stunning. There’s lockers provided and the WiFi was strong enough to work. If in Kratie and on a budget this is definitely a very good choice, also location wise.
