UAN kanazawa is located a 5-minute walk from Musashigatsuji/Ohmicho Ichiba Bus Stop and Omicho Market. Everything. The design and size of the rooms, the location, the friendly staff, the wonderful touches like yukatas for personal wear, round-the-clock tea bar and free soba noodle service at night. The room featured two large single beds separated by a side table. There was a humidifier available to us. The bathroom featured a soaking tub and a shower, and there was an extra vanity with a basin outside the bathroom as well. The balcony was lovely and spacious for two. The room’s entryway has a great sliding door that creates a private nook even before you step inside. The hotel has a washing machine and gym available to guests. Breakfast was available with prior reservation. An on-site sake service was also available for a fee. Location wise, it is walking distance from the major historical sights and local markets. It is also well connected by public transport and is 1 hour away from the Shinkansen station.

Very spacious rooms and fantastic staff who were eager to help me out with any issues I had (of my own fault). There is a very nice cozy bar at the reception. The area is very lively, filled with stores, cafes, and various retailers. It's within 700m of the bus station, so it's very easy to reach any place.

This included the manager personally taking us to a grocery store so we could forward our luggage.

This was truly the best accomodation we have ever stayed in and for sure the best during our 3 weeks travel across Japan. The accomodation basically consists of a two floored house (so much space is so rare in Japan), with a beautiful modern bathroom on ground level including a bathtube facing out to a wonderful zen garden. The main rooms are on the first floor with a massive living room, a tatami room and a bedroom with the biggest and most comfortable bed. All rooms were spotless clean, bathrobes and pyjamas were offered. The bedroom view and balcony to the zen garden outside created a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. One of the best things definitely was the breakfast which is provided in an extra breakfast room downstairs at the café (which you cannot here from the flat) - not only is the room beautiful and very special but the breakfast itself was absolutely delicious: every day different sorts of freshly baked bread, incredibel pastries (so pretty!), fresh fruit and vegetables created in the most delicious and delicate way. We couldnt have asked or wished for more. On top of all this is Ryoko as lovely, welcoming and very thoughtful and caring host (pick up service from the train station, extra blankets unasked when the weather turned colder). This accomodation made our trip to Kanazawa extra special and unforgettable!

Kanazawa is an elegant and quaint city in the ishikawa prefecture. People are friendly and seem to be a little more conservative than other cities in Japan. It is a beautiful city and I will keep on visiting this city to discover more whenever I get to visit Japan again. I have definitely left my heart in Kanazawa for its hospitality and beauty.
Hakusan
Truly a unique authentic traditional Japanese experience with tatami and garden. The host was extremely helpful despite speaking no English. While the place was out of the way from the main city of Kanazawa, the trade off was a quiet suburban neighbourhood of Japan, very close to a supermarket and an amazing sushi restaurant called Nishikawaya we had 12 freshly made nigiri for a very reasonable price.
Housai
The interior and facilities in the rooms were very clean and stylish. The hotel was recently renovated and newly opened, and the old pillars, beams and ceilings have been preserved, which was also very cool. The crockery was colourful Kutani ware, I could enjoy the fusion of the modern, cool and the local atmosphere of Ishikawa, which places great value on tradition.

As other travellers stated it is a cosy and peaceful hotel. Everything was perfect and we had a wonderful and refreshing sleep. It is very close to station and it has free parking, which if you come by car like us is wonderful! Breakfast was perfect too!! We would love to stay here in any future trips to Ishikawa Prefecture!
I loved all of the amenities this hotel had! The room was pretty big for a Japanese hotel and the TV had actual good channels. It’s definitely a more modern hotel and it was the best one I stayed in Ishikawa. Check in was with a machine so you don’t have to talk to anyone!
The staff was fantastic, kind and accommodating. We booked a queen with a single bad, and when we asked to change it and get one with two beds, it was immediate and fast. The Onsen was beautiful, clean, with free treats once finished:tea coffe, ice cream. Breakfast good and plenty. I truly recommend this hotel.

Nice japanese style room. Room was spacios, well prepared and aquiped. Great and interesting experience. Hotel provides public baths as well as provate bath for 3300 💴. We took a nice private bath. Recomend. As well you can order a massage or use a massage machine. Foot bath are as well very nice. Breakfast was japanese style, quite a good choice. At 21:00 there was a drums performance. There are a free hotel shuttle to take you from station. All in all great experiance.

Located in a lovely little bay with amazing views, we had the most pleasant stay. The food was extraordinary! The possibility of selecting one or more differently patterned Yukatas for every day of the stay was a nice extra.

Very spacious comfortable room
The hotel was great! The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast had a lot of variety and tasted great. (don't expect a western breakfast! They did have some rolls and jam, but the rest was traditionally Japanese dishes but we prefer that anyways) The public bath is lovely and the rooms were lovely as well. Location was great, it's in a very lively area with lots bars/karaoke/restaurants around. The hotel itself is very quiet and calm so you don't have to worry about noise. I would stay there again!
