They gave me an upgrade, which was such a nice surprise! 😍The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was huge, modern, and included a bidet. I stayed only one night, but it was a great experience. If I return to beautiful Venice, I will definitely stay here again. The location is perfect—just a 3–4 minute walk to the water taxi station and about a 10–15 minute walk to the city center. The hotel is in a quiet area, with a restaurant and a small grocery store nearby.

Everything was exceptional and unique, starting from the location of the hotel which is overlooking the river Mincio and its waterfalls with the small village of Borghetto. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely furnished, and the reception was extremely kind to offer us an upgrade into a room with a river view. Sleeping with the sound of river flowing is something that relaxes you beyond imagination. The spa & wellness is fine, and offers you a wonderful view of the river from its terrace with sunbeds. I’m still lost for words and looking forward to come back and forget about everything for a couple of days.

Beautiful city, compact enough to walk around with excellent guided tours. We stayed on the Piazza Erbe which is a good central position with easy to access museums, sight seeing and great restaurants in the old town. Sophisticated yet friendly, Verona is a perfect stopping off point between Venice and the Lakes, great scenery, wonderful food and wine in the Veneto with snowy peaks in the background. A lovely place to visit.
I think Lido di Jesolo is a perfect location to have beach holidays and to visit interesting places of Veneto at the same time. Nice beaches, good food, location close to Venice and other towns make an excellent opportunity for people who love travelling and shopping.
Let's be clear - Jesolo itself is a full-on beach resort holiday. Not my taste really, but our children LOVED Aqualandia and the new fair ground, Jesolandia. Food is pizza pile of pasta pizza pile of pasta. The prices were reasonable enough. Also the HUGE plus for Jesolo is its proximity to Venice! The Biennale is on this year and is a big hit with us adults and the children. Of course, Venice is breathtakingly beautiful in summer and the countryside and towns and villages in Veneto are gorgeous. It was baking hot - 38°+ on average - so we didn't get much cycling done this summer!
Great place if you are interested in architecture/social history or enjoy a lovely, elegant town as a base to explore further afield. It is a World Heritage Site in relation to its architecture. We went on the Palladio trail which was really good. We stayed a couple of days as part of a longer trip round the Veneto area but could have stayed longer, it's a super place. To get your bearings of the town a drink at the rooftop terrace of the Basilica Palladiana in the piazza is a must! The town is fairly compact and easy to navigate and walk round.
Montebelluna is a very clean town, with friendly people. It sits under the church of Santa Maria in Colle, on a hill. It's perfectly placed to explore Veneto- Padua is less than an hour away, Feltre and Belluno (for Dolomites) is an hour, Venice is nearby, Treviso 22km away. It's also the start of the Prosecco area, and if that doesn't grab you, Verona is a little way west, where you'll find Amarone and Valpollicella.
A much more attractive town than I expected. Great selection of shops and restaurants. And there is excellent transport with bus, tram and train connections to Venice as well as throughout the Veneto region and further afield.
A beautiful, friendly and vibrant city, easy to walk around. For the best stuffed octopus, head to the pop up stall in the Piazza della Frutta. You can get a beer right next to it. For sensational cocktails, head to Caffe Veneto on via Roma. A must see is the Scrovegni Chapel and Giotto’s frescoes.
Visit to San Antonio and the Prato. Ate at Tratorias and found good value for money and specialities in the cusine of Veneto. Very easy to get around using the tram - our b & b at Gioia was very handy to a tram stop, especially for late night return to the b & b. Young couples will enjoy the easy socialising with locals at night at tratorias and bars - a smattering of Italian helps.
Interesting historic centre, castle and museum. The amphitheatre is truly majestic but is not always accessible due to events. Too many tourists though and so many being utterly silly about Romeo and Juliet ( it was a made-up story,folks!). There are other equally interesting and quieter cities to visit in the Veneto
I prefer Venice out of season and avoid the major landmarks where possible. Try to take in Biennale if you can (art in the odd years; architecture in the even) and any major exhibition to provide a focus to your trip. Visit the churches and the scuole to see the finest of paintings and sculpture in their original settings. Snack on cicchetti for brunch in pavement cafes and dine in small restaurants away from the crowds; focus on the fish dishes and the Veneto wines for a truly Venetian flavour.
Mogliano Veneto
This accommodation is perfect for a budget trip to Venice if you land at Treviso Airport. The location is approximately midway on the train ride from Treviso to Venice. I really liked the room; it offers great value for the price. Nearby the hotel in Mogliano Veneto, there is an excellent restaurant (Unico Ristorante), a charming cafe (Goppion Caffetteria), and a convenient supermarket (Cadoro Superstore). Just keep in mind that it's about 1.5 km from the train station, which wasn't an issue for me as it made for a pleasant walk.
Mogliano Veneto
Romantic and quiet place, in the immediate vicinity of which the river flows. Excellent equipment of the apartment, down to the smallest details, very clean, chilled wine and water for welcome. Large and secure free parking space, generally a very safe accommodation. To visit Venice, it takes a total of 40 minutes by bus and train, the trains run very often, and the ticket costs only 3 euros one way. There is an elevator inside the villa. In any case, a place you should not skip, for your visit to Mogliano Veneto and Venezia!
Vittorio Veneto
Is there a 'more than excellent' option? As I would definitely have chosen it for Appartamento Madison. We couldn't have a made a better choice for our stay in Vittorio Veneto. A very comfortable, spotless apartment with all the necessities. A home away from home. Valentina and Michele were extremely welcoming, helpful and the communication with them was excellent. Highly recommend this apartment. I would definitely choose it again if I were to visit Vittorio Veneto in the future.
We had a lovely 6 night stay in this spacious, comfortable and super clean apartment. Great position in a quiet street, a pleasant 10 minute walk from the station and a 5 minute walk to the centre of the old town. A super friendly welcome by Federico, gave us lots of tips on sightseeing, restaurants etc. Excellent base for seeing the other towns in the Veneto region. A big thank you to Federico & Violetta for your hospitality & generosity.
Vicenza
We loved the central location of the hotel. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had both sweet and savory options. The personnel was extremely welcoming and kind. We even received a little parting gift at the checkout :) Vicenza is a great central base for exploring the Veneto region, and a lovely city on its own! We traveled by train and appreciated that train station is just 15 minutes walk from the hotel.
Treviso
The proprietors! Eduardo and Alberto are such attentive kind and helpful hosts. Their attention to every imaginable detail is unrivalled in my humble view. The location and value for money also make Ai Bastioni stand out from the crowd. Free parking at the hotel right on the edge of one of Veneto’s most polished jewels, Treviso, and but a few minutes stroll to its heart make this place truly special.
We had a wonderful stay in the Key Hotel, Vicenza which was our base to explore the Veneto region a bit. Regarding the hotel, everything was great for us. The staff was helpful, friendly and we felt very welcome. The room and bathroom were spacious, beds comfortable and air conditioning worked super well. There was a minibar outside of the rooms. We didn’t use the breakfast and parking options.
Vittorio Veneto
Our host Annarita was excellent. She looked after us and gave us a lot of tips and information about the area. We felt immediately at ease with her and our stay at the hotel was extremely pleasant. If we had had more days available for our tour of Veneto we would have definitely stayed there longer. The view from the outdoor terrace was amazing. really enjoyed our espresso break there.
Location is perfect, not far from Treviso airport and just off the main road taking you to the Dolomites and some of the best Prosecco Vineyards in the Veneto region. Don't forget the Restaurant/Pizzeria next door to the Hotel, a real blessing when coming back from some long tours around the area. Park the car, get refreshed and off to some off the bets Pizzas in Montebelluna.
Treviso
The hotel is super cozy and nice, just a quick walk from everywhere in Treviso but in a quiet street. We had the inner garden room so we couldn't hear anything, perfect for resting after a full day with activities around Veneto and Friuli region. The staff was helpful and nice, the hotel was clean and I was able to leave my luggage as my flight was later that day.
I've stayed in many hotels around the wider Veneto, including in Venice, Treviso, and Verona. I have no doubt that the Hotel Grande Italia was the best I've been to — incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating staff; great service and local knowledge; excellent food at breakfast; big comfortable rooms with excellent facilities.
Vittorio Veneto
The apartment has everything you need for a pleasant stay. They are furnished in Italian style, which adds charm to the stay. The hospitality of the owner and her son is immense, they welcomed us as part of the family! If you are going to Vittorio Veneto, we recommend staying at Da Caterina. You won't regret it.
We have stayed here second time already. this is very nice place if you want tranel and discover Prosecco hills area and Veneto region . The hotel is so close to Gardaland, very strategically located. The personnel is nice, at your service, very responsive and prompt. The bedrooms are clean, spacious, the whole surrouding is quiet and there is also garage for the car. Really excellent place to stay during your visit to Veneto region.

The youth hostel must have been recently renovated. The room was in a very good, modern condition. Lots of space, a small tea and coffee corner, a spacious bathroom with everything you need. The location is very convenient, a few minutes from Vittorio Veneto train station. Very quiet at night.
Caorle
Large and clean apartment perfect for a family of three. Working appliances and good wifi coverage. Breakfast was tasty and with quite a lot of choices. Just 3 minutes walk from the sea. The fact that it has its own parking is also awesome as then one can visit the beautiful Veneto area.
Vittorio Veneto
The apartment was modern and very clean. It suited us as we were visiting family. The old town of Serravalle is beautiful. The hosts were very hospitable and even took us to the train station which was extremely generous. I would recommend this apartment in Vittorio Veneto.
