Everything was exceptional! When we first showed up, we were a little wary of being out of a bustling city Center. We were immediately greeted with the most beautifully decorated, pristine courtyard & a glass of Prosecco. Anthony, Maria & Serena were all amazing. They helped us make the most of our stay and we were truly so sad to leave. We mistakenly forgot to book a car and the hotel manager Anthony literally drove us to a recommended winery, arranged a beautiful tasting & lunch, waited for us to finish and then drove us back. I’m not joking when I say the service is exceptional. This hotel is very special and made such a memorable honeymoon destination. We are already looking into when we can come back.

It is also fantastic to be able to dine at the Osteria on the first floor! We thank Marino, Elena, Francesca, Chef Luigi & Katiuska for their warm hospitality. Luigi is an amazing Chef and his creations absolutely delicious (the Egg & tartufo is Top!!!). We highly recommend this lovely hotel /restaurant to explore the beautiful Val D’Orcia. We can’t wait to be able to go back to visit.
Castiglione dʼOrcia
The room was beautiful and clean, the host was the best woman in the world. Val d’Orcia is extremely beautiful place to visit, on of the most impressive I’ve ever seen. And the host is perfect, highly recommended place to stay! Everything inside the apartment was super-clean and cosy, we could use perfect kitchen with every possible needed thing in it, we could go by foot to see panoramic beautiful sunset or go by car and see beautiful mountain Toscana places and even Gladiator movie shooting point. Very happy!!!!!
Bagno Vignoni
Quiet, beautiful setting on a hilltop with views of the Val D’Orcia and sunrise and sunsets. Able to walk/ hike right from there to San Quirico and Bagno Vignoni. Apartment was very comfortable and clean and easily cooked a nice dinner there. Even has a coffee maker and coffee which was perfect. Easy to get in touch with host if needed. You may be lucky enough to pet the cute dogs that live there- they are quiet. This was a highlight in our Tuscany travels!!
Monticchiello
The owners are great, very helpful, nice and not intrusive at the same time. The location is perfect for visiting all the sights (Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, Montepulcino, Val D’Orcia…), although it is not on top of the hill. It is really helpful that they have a list of suggested restaurants - which are are really great. I suggest taking the breakfast since it is really good - no one should miss their home made yoghurt.

Stunning location, the pool set-up is amazing. The rooms are so charming. The restaurant is to die for, probably the best meals we had during our whole trip to Italy. They make source a lot of their ingredients from their farm. The staff was so accommodating and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Incredibly close to all you’d want to see in Val D’Orcia with incredible scenic drives at every turn.
great location in beautiful setting. close to pienza and Val d’Orcia. rustic and traditional in a good way. food at restaurant very good. views are amazing. if the pool had been open would have been perfect. really easy to explore the area by car. the gentleman that ran the desk was the sweetest. quaint. room is clean. bed pretty comfortable came with extra pillows and blankets.
San Quirico dʼOrcia
It‘s a cute house with a really friendly couple who hosts it. They were so helpful and made the best to feel myself at home 😊 for breakfast they had a huge variety of different food, way too much to eat it all 😊 great shooting spots of Val D‘Orcia are also close by and a very tasty restaurant is right beside the hotel. All in all I can highly recommend a stay at Antica Sosta.
Pienza
The view is magnificent, and it was really worthy staying here. Facilities may not be as new as hotels, but still cozy enough to enjoy Val D’Orcia atmosphere. Host Luca is responsive and easy to find him if any questions. A bit pity the weather was chill and not so suitable for swimming, but the pool view was really nice.
San Quirico dʼOrcia
The hosts are an amazing local couple who also make wine and are very passionate about hospitality. They were so helpful during our stay and the apartment is absolutely perfect in every way - they thought through every detail and this is a perfect village to stay in while visiting Val D’Orcia. The location is excellent. The view overlooking Val d’Orcia and the sunsets in the evenings were really amazing. The apartment had everything we needed, the outdoor seating area and the swimming pool were very nice. The host was also very responsive and provided great recommendations for restaurants.
We stayed one night at the hotel and everything was very good. Very clean, staff very friendly and we had an amazing room with a view over the Val d’Orcia. We had dinner at the terrace as well and the food was very good with an amazing sunset. Breakfast very good as well. We recommend it.
Very lovely typic inn in Montalcino. Very comfortable and nice rooms with a superbe view. Excellent breakfast. The owners are a lively family who let us park our 4 bikes in their garage. This stay in Montalcino was the peak of our 3 days in Val d’Orcia and our preferred hotel.

everything! staying there was the best part of our trip in Italy. the views are incredible, the attention from Marco was great , the rooms are awesome . it is very well located so you can go to the different parts from Val d’Orcia in no more than 20 minutes .

Very well located with just a few minutes driving distance from the main ancient towns in Val d’Orcia. The apartment is amazing, very clean, comfortable and with a astonishing view. They have a delicious breakfast and a fabulous customer service.
Highlights were the excellent location within Montalcino and the fantastic view from the apartment`s terrace onto the Val d´Orcia valley. Otherwise the host was very friendly and helpful, the apartment cozy and the private garage definitely a plus.
