Every detail of the place is beautifully curated with impeccable taste a unique and personal style. Everything is clean and the room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful with a window opening on a view of Morano Colabro on the hillside and another on the other side opening to the street. The breakfast was delicious and served with such care! There was also a gallery showing at the hotel of a local artist named Francesca Russo while we were there and we found her work breathtaking. At Albergo Merùo, you’re welcomed with warmth into an artful, inviting and comfortable space. We couldn’t have dreamed of better !

It was very clear how much thought went into every single detail at this exquisite property, truly a dream! We have been coming to Calabria since we were little and we just found this hidden gem. Gina the chef takes care of guests as if they were her own children and everything she prepares for food is homegrown, made with love, and divine! We ate the best food at La Pastorella. Claudia the owner is very kind and well known in the town of Maierà. We are in love with this place and will be returning. We felt at home.

San Severino Lucano
Great location for exploring the Pollino National Park. Very friendly and helpful host - despite our very limited Italian and our host not speaking English. Google Translate saved the day! Bed very comfy and the apartment had what we needed. The surrounding area is fabulous. Many places closed (we visited mid May). Clearly the local tourist season us much later in the year.
The hosts are the most welcoming and warm family. The son speaks English and can tell you all about the neighbourhood Eat at the restaurant of the hotel because the food is incredible! The area is beautiful: Morano Calabro is a very beautiful town but the Pollino National Park is really breathtaking and San Domenico is the perfect place to stay and explore the area!

Beautiful resort. Look left to the pool, well kept, exceptionally clean, pool bar and look right to the sea. Again kept stunning, with lots of fun entertainment for adults and children. I would highly recommend it. Breakfast croissants are delicious and the resort is also walking distance - 5 mins - to a lovely sea parade with lots of restaurants, bars and shops.
