Hotel Anticos Palathos is located in an ancient palace in the central square of Orosei. It is on the east coast of Sardinia, close to the Bidderosa Oasis. This hotel is probably one of the best properties we ever stayed at and it completely exceeded our expectations. Maria Theresa at the front desk let us check in early, gave us a choice between rooms and thoroughly explained to us parking, dining and excursions in the area. The hotel itself was beautiful, unique, and the room was very big, quiet and clean. It is also very central with convenient access to dining, parking, shopping.

Hard to know where to start , it was all so good Lovely , flexible helpful staff . All working hard and running a tight ship , even tho it was end of season and they must have been tired . No especially unwanted noise , just bikes coming and going and the sound of people enjoying themselves . Breakfast was fine and restaurant was excellent. Next door is prima sardegna , where we got 10% reduction because we were at La F.. a brilliant day out on a RIB, going to all the best beaches .

Comfortable beds and bathroom, tons of towels, great breakfast with variety of fresh fruit, good coffee and lovely staff. The pool area was lovely even though it was still a bit cold to try the pool itself.

Overlooking the Gulf of Orosei, Hotel Quasar is just 500 metres from Cala Beach. This family-managed hotel offers quiet rooms with air conditioning, satellite TV and a private balcony. Super clean and very attentive and kind staff. There’s also air conditioning in the units which was paramount since August was seeing record breaking temperatures. It’s also down the street from a lovely gelato place and a really nice breakfast is included with your stay. The room also had a little balcony for views of the nearby hilltops.

We loved the location of this hotel. Central to everything in the town and the beach but in a quiet residential street. The outdoor area with the pool was welcoming and relaxing and the continental breakfast was deliciously satisfying. The management team consisting of Mario and Fabienne were friendly, obliging to our needs and very helpful with tips on boat tours, day trips and recommended restaurants for dinner. We loved our stay at Hotel Nettuno and have happy memories of Cala Gonone and the stunning Gulf of Orosei.

We have had a wonderful stay in the apartment, it was comfortable and well equipped, the sea view was gorgeous, we enjoyed so much our breakfasts and dinners on the terrace. Stefano is the most cheerful and generous host one can ever imagine, he provided all necessary links and even offered us the house wine that his family produces. Thanks to Stefano’s suggestions we travelled the most beautiful places and beaches of the Gulf of Orosei.
The breakfast is buffet-style and very complete. The pool is enormous and features a lovely bar. The hotel offers spectacular views of the sea and the city of Cala Gonone. The best part is the excursion to the Gulf of Orosei. A shuttle takes you to the port, where a boat departs for a full-day adventure. Upon returning, the shuttle brings you directly back to the hotel, so there is no need to worry about anything.

We loved everything. The staff, the extra rich breakfast, the fantastic tastes in the restaurant - and of course the pictoresque view on the port, the bay, the cliffs and the mediterranean vegetation. Just a remark: the elevator is really silly :-)

The pool area very well kept and maintained, super relax, no noise, calm. The breakfast is also nice, fruit, coffee, juices, italian cakes, and the things that usually north europeans like, sausages, bacon...etc. The decoration and the area are beautiful, rustic style village, in a circle area, like grandmas countryside house, the smell of jasmine from the garden, the metal sculptures in the garden, all the flowers, grass well maintained, the room with wood ceiling, classic doors, old style wardrobe, desk... Sve je jako lepo organizovano i blizu, mi smo bili u izdvojenom delu sa zasebnim bazenom i bilo nam je prelepo. Vrucine i guzvu nismo osetili ni jednog trenutka. Osoblje je divno i veoma usluzno, odseli smo 14 nocenja i zaista se odmorili i uzivali.

We enjoyed our stay a lot, spending half a day near the swimming pool and travelling to beautiful beaches of Cala Gonone after lunch. Double bedroom room is ideal for family with teenagers. Very comfy beds and daily cleaning. Tasty breakfast. Definitely we'll be back. Recommended.
