This beautiful country-house hotel on the edge of Enniskerry features spacious rooms and seasonal cuisine, 5 minutes’ walk from Powerscourt House and Gardens. Last minute booking due to work pressure so I was just looking for somewhere convenient. But this place is a real gem. From the tree lined driveway to a most Fabolous breakfast spread.

Set in a Designated Area of Natural Beauty, the award winning BrookLodge & Macreddin Village has elegant modern rooms and extensive facilities which include an indoor-to-outdoor pool, Hammam massage... We loved the bedrooms and furniture, the beautiful peaceful settings and scenery and all of the different building and amenities available. We particularly loved the thermal suite in the spa where we spent a delicious few hours. The outdoor jacuzzi was bliss!

On Ireland’s beautiful east coast, Powerscourt Hotel is a 5-star hotel tucked away in the woodlands of County Wicklow. There are stunning spa facilities and an award-winning restaurant, Sika. There are so many positive things to comment on. We loved our room - especially our nice big walk in wardrobe and bathroom. The calming colours, the cleanliness, the spaciousness were all here (alot of the times in other hotels something is lacking but not here). We ate dinner at the Sally Gap, I was very impressed with how smooth everything ran especially as they had only just re-opened. The food was delicious - my veg burger was the best I have ever eaten (and I've eaten many), my Mum had steak and it was cooked exactly as she requested. Breakfast was perfect, as I like fresh fruit and coffee and my Mum enjoys a hot breakfast so both our needs were met. I absolutely loved the pool where I enjoyed a quiet adult only morning swim. Every single member of staff we interacted with were friendly yet professional, I wish all hospitality staff could be like this! I can honestly say this was one of the best short break hotel experiences I've ever had.

This 400-year old hotel is nestled in the beautiful Vale of Avoca, overlooking Woodenbridge Golf Club. Its modern rooms have free Wi-Fi, while its AA Rosette restaurant serves full Irish breakfasts. This is a well looked after and loved hotel. The staff are lovely and cheery, they seem to enjoy their work. My room was large with a balcony. WiFi worked perfectly and there was a good table to do some work on my laptop. The restaurant was busy with a limited but good menu and a lovely background hum to it. Breakfast was both cooked and continental cuisine.

Located in Bray and with Bray Beach reachable within a few steps, The Palm provides a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. The interior design was so artistic, romantic and spacious. I loved the idea that it was a pet friendly hotel.

Firefly has accommodations in Bray. The property is around a 11-minute walk from National Sealife Aquarium, 3.6 miles from Brayhead and 4.9 miles from Powerscourt House, Gardens and Waterfall. Modern hotel, cozy & clean. Easy to get from to pretty much everywhere as it’s located right at the bus stop. The room was equipped with a coffee machine, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, smart TV. Loved staying here!
